We are located just three minutes from Sweet Briar College, 20 minutes from Liberty University, and 20 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Close to restaurants and downtown Amherst. Relax in our private 1000 sqft apartment backed up to beautiful woods and stream. Sit outside and take in the sounds of nature and stream. While you are apart from the hustle and bustle of the city, know you are only minutes from Liberty University, Randolph and Lynchburg College, Centra Health, Amtrack, airport and downtown Lynchburg. Our two bedroom apartment offers a full bath, partial kitchen, dining and living room areas. Our hospitality includes communication, conversation and privacy.

You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings of this rustic destination. Our cabin is close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Appalachian Trail, and the James River with many outdoor activities within minutes. Our cabin will accommodate 2 people based upon septic system and rules and regulations set by Bedford County . Our cabin is not kid friendly (infant-10 y). Please message us with any questions. Come back from sightseeing or from a hike and relax in the hammock, 6 person hot tub, or by fire pit.

Wineries, orchards, and hiking nearby. Friendly dogs may occasionally visit from my mother’s house next door. (Look for Wind Tides Farm sign). ***If booking in winter months, keep in mind the wind tends to be heavy, depending on weather.***

The Little Gallery House, near Natural Bridge, is part of an old Civilian Conservation Corps Camp, then juvenile detention center, now a campground and artist community, called Thunder BRidge. There are 100 acres to explore, bordering the Jefferson National Forest, with hiking trails and just 2 miles from the James River. This would be an ideal place for family to meet if some of you want to camp and others would like a real house. There is a queen bed and a day bed.
