Cabin on Big Powderhorn Mtn

Bring the whole family to this great cabin nestled in the woods on the side of Big Powderhorn Mtn. Bear Summit is a 5 bedroom 3 bathroom cabin that sleeps 13 people. (The 6th bedroom is an open loft area). Featuring a wood burning fireplace, board games, and plenty of space. You can stream your favorite shows on 2 smart TVs. Up to 3 dogs are welcome, there is a $50 pet fee per stay. While we are on the mountain, we are not a ski-in ski-out cabin. It is just a short few minutes drive to the base.

A Little Piece of Heaven

This is a true getaway! No close neighbors and plenty of privacy on 2.5 acres and just minuets away from most all of the adventures. We love this Cabin and have put some of our touches on it and we want everyone who stays here to enjoy it. We love the connection with nature we find here. There is so much to offer: waterfalls, bike trails, & ski resorts to name a few. Plenty of lakes for fishing, hunting and water sports! Stay a little closer to Heaven! Thank you, Darla and Bill Rose

Please note: This cabin has an outhouse instead of a bathroom and the water is pumped from a tank that is filled before each stay for use in the kitchen sink. If more water is needed there is an artesian spring 4 miles down the road and a container to transport water for your convenience.

Quiver Inn is the place to be this winter. February 24 we have had over 24 inches of snow in the last 10 days. Walking distance to Big Powderhorn Mountain and offering a free ski locker at the lodge, 10 minute ride to Big Snow Country, Blackjack Resort and Indianhead Mountain. Guests are saying the skiing is great. Chalet will be waiting after a day of skiing with an outside deck with a hot tub and a cozy fireplace. Give us a try. We know you will enjoy your stay!

Our cabin is very cozy and we want you to feel at home!! We have a large yard for games, campfires, and more. There’s a sauna to enjoy and if it’s raining we have a ping pong table in the basement. Walmart is a straight shot up the road for shopping. The beautiful Black River Parkway is located 20 minutes away where there are hiking trails to 5 different falls, Copper Peak ski jump and Lake Superior beach.
