A unique and wonderful house, on the edge of a freshwater lake and just a few minutes by foot to the beach. Set in a protected site of natural interest and rich in history and just a few minutes drive into the heart of the Charming harbour town of Paimpol in the Cotes D'Armor region of Brittany. The Famous Isle de Brehat and the Cote de Granit Rose are just a few miles away and there are lots of amazing points of interest all around the area. The house stands on the site of a 12th century watermill once owned by the Abbey de Beauport which still stands just 250 mètres from the house. The house is extremely comfortable and beautifully furnished with Wifi , an open fire and central heating. The garden consists of a lakeside terrace to the front,a decked terrace to the rear and a wooded garden. A lakeside barbecue area.A lawned garden and another decked lakeside terrace. Surrounding the property are woods to 3 sides which have numerous choices of walks,and the sea and the coastal path ( the GR34) which has one of its most charming sections starting right there just 200 mètres from the house. Interestingly the 'St Jacques de Compostelle' or 'St John's Way' walk hase one of its 3 Breton starting points at a granite shell monolith just 50 mètres et from out gates at the Abbaye de Beauport and the path runs through the woods behind the house. Ground Floor. The Dining room with expansive views of the lake has an open fire, and antique table to seat 12. A whole wall of books. Music system and games cupboard. The far end of the Dining room has a large sofa,coffee table and armchairs. The Sitting room, also with lake views, sports comfortable sofas and chairs and a 42 ins smart TV. DVD machine and cable. Also a huge library of quality DVD's. Breton farmhouse full of character, by the sea

Our longhouse is 2km from the beaches of the Baie de St-Brieuc, in the heart of the Côtes d 'Armor. It dates back to the 19th century and was completely renovated in 2023 with care. Its large garden of more than 1000m2 is located in a natural environment, in absolute calm and close to the sea (2km), including the beautiful Rosaries beach and the seaside resort of Binic. This family longhouse is the ideal place for holidays or weekends with friends for a quiet stay guaranteed.
