Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make you trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". We hope that a stay at the Temple will deliver this experience and stay true to this vision.

The Black Triangle Cabin is a peaceful getaway situated on our property just outside of Jedburgh, a historic town in the heart of the Scottish Borders. The Cabin sleeps 2 people in a king size bed, with a separate living/kitchen space boasting views through the woods and across the fields. If you keep an eye out, you may see the deer that pass through regularly, or even hear our resident owl. Ideally located only an hour from Edinburgh, Newcastle and the St Abbs coastline.

The Woodland Cabin is set on the edge of a forest near the beautiful small village of Abbey St Bathans, just 1 hour south of Edinburgh. Come and relax in the woods with a book or grab your hiking boots or bikes and explore the surrounding countryside. We're a 20 minute drive from the coast which has stunning cliff top walks and beautiful little bays and fishing villages. Ideally located to access local walks and the river Tweed.

We are within half an hour's drive from the beach and railway stations. You’ll love Stichill Stables because of the views and the peaceful location. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers who have their car. We can also accommodate a child / third person if required. We are in a fairly rural location, the nearest shops, bars and restaurants being approximately four miles away in the town of Kelso in the Scottish Borders.
