This trip brought wild turkeys grazing by my window, the whimsical sounds of crickets and frogs by the natural pond and the deer wandering just past the meadow. Richard hung up the hammock for my nap and Janna keeps me up to date on local news and makes sure I am adequately supplied with anything I may need. Then of course Roxy the Bernese mountain dog. Roxy has a wonderful routine of saying hello a few times a day and always gives me a little chuckle. I hope your stay is as wonderful as mine have been. I am starting to lose count on the number of visits I’ve made- but not enough is an accurate statement. Best wishes!”

Perfect space for up to 4 (ideal for 2) to rest or just crash after a day of exploring the Colorado Springs area. Wake up and walk out the door to views of Pikes Peak, or get to the top within 45 minutes. 15 minutes from Garden of the Gods and Red Rock Canyon. 10 minutes from the Air Force academy. 15-20 min to UCCS! 90 minutes from the Royal Gorge and SO MUCH MORE!

Barn studio apartment located on 5 acres in Black Forest. Newly renovated! The apartment is roughly 350 sqft. It features a well thought out main room which has a queen bed armoire, tv, dining table, mini fridge/freezer and microwave. The bathroom has an over sized tile shower, sink and toilet. The kitchen has a full-size stove, sink and prep area. You have a private stone patio with a private entrance. There is no a/c in the unit. We do provide a fan for you to use during the summer.
