Holiday rentals in Blomidon

Absolutely loved our 12 nights stay at this stunning Airbnb in Halifax! We came as a group of 10 for my brother’s wedding and the house was beyond perfect. The place is massive, clean, elegant, and super private—ideal for a big family gathering. The ground floor living area became our favorite hangout spot, giving us unforgettable family moments. With 5 spacious bedrooms and a driveway that easily fit over 10 cars, we never felt crowded even when we hosted a dinner with friends. The host was outstanding—very responsive and helpful. We had a minor issue with a shower, and they quickly sent over a video to guide us through, which was incredibly thoughtful. Also, when we reported a small accidental damage, the host graciously waived it. That kind of support is rare. Advice for future guests: If you're planning a trip with family or friends, this is hands-down the best place to stay in Halifax. We had an amazing weekend stay! The cottage is very clean, cozy, and decorated so nicely. The weather was still a bit too cold to swim, but the walk to the lake was very short. Lots of DVDs and board games to choose from, and a perfect spot to bring our dogs.

We absolutely loved this place. Will definitely book again in the future. If you’re looking for a relaxed vacation environment I highly recommend this place!

Fabulous location, quiet although close to a busy commercial street with lots of eating and shopping options, sweet back porch/balcony, helpful and quick-to-respond host, stocked milk in fridge for our morning coffee after a late night arrival - lovely personal touch.

Our stay was great, the hosts were awesome and very helpful, was extremely clean , and absolutely no complaints definitely will be back again

We enjoyed arelaxing getaway weekend! The place is beautiful and easily and very comfortably accommodated 6 people. Each couple had their own bathroom! Everything was spotless and up to date and worked well. The view from the decks was amazing! There were lots of every amenity as well as cozy blankets, board games, and even a drawer of "necessities" you could purchase for a donation if you happen to have forgotten your floss or some bandads! I'm going to book another getaway there very soon!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Changing Tides. Brand new so everything was clean and crisp. Great view of the Bay on days it wasn’t foggy. Tons of activities to keep everyone occupied, from beach walks, hiking and golf. Natalie was great, she’s on the property so anything needed is taken care of immediately. Highly recommended!
