Whimsical Guest House-Downtown Boone

This is a renovated guest house that was built in 1940. It has great 1940's features, like hardwood floors, high ceilings, and large scale windows. We removed 2 major walls, which opened up kitchen/dining room /living room, to one big space. The guest-house now has an open, bright feel, with a funky, mid-century decor. Our property consists of 3 acres, yet is only one block from downtown Boone. The outside setting is very secluded and natural- with a wooded hillside, creek, and huge yard.

This lovely new, super cozy 400 sq ft cabin with one bedroom plus loft (queen beds) sleeps 4 people comfortably. Lovingly adorned with my mosaic artwork, “Kirsten’s Cabin” is located less than 5 minutes drive from downtown Boone and is centrally located to many High Country attractions. The convenient location is a big plus, the trade-off is you can hear traffic from the 105 bypass. Ear plugs and noise machines provided. There's parking options for different types of vehicles available.

Payne Branch River retreat (A) is nestled on eleven acres of privately owned riverfront property in Blowing Rock, NC. The New River runs directly in front of the property and provided unique access to pristine, hatchery supported trout fishing. We are ten minutes from Appalachian Ski Mountain and two miles from downtown Boone with easy access to 321. This retreat is the perfect getaway for exploring all the High Country has to offer. **Primary renter must be at least 25 years old

Minutes to App Ski Mtn, Tweetsie, and fishing. Port-a-john close by for bathroom. Shower hut with hot water basin when temperatures are above freezing. Rec center nearby. Firepit, complimentary firewood, picnic area, firewood, water, WiFi and electricity. Additional firewood and homemade cinnamon rolls available.

Our Happy Little Hut

Come and stay in our unique quonset hut just 15 minutes to Boone! This is a half circle metal building turned into a unique tiny home cabin experience. This 400 sq ft space has everything you need including a bedroom, bathroom and upstairs kids loft. The main area has colorful wood details and an accent wall with 100 year old barn wood right from our own farm. The water is straight from a natural spring up our mountain. This space is ideal for couples, and two kids.
