The house is surrounded by a spacious garden with sun all day, but also plenty of shady spots. Within walking distance in the forest is the beautiful swimming lake 't Nije Hemelriek. There are several MTB routes, a golf course and various hiking and biking routes. The house has 2 spacious bedrooms, a comfortable living room, kitchen, utility room and spacious garden.

Inside, you can enjoy a warm bath or light the wood stove comfortably. Since the cottage is on a cozy campsite (De Lente van Drenthe), there are many amenities just around the corner.

Bij mooi weer is het heerlijk vertoeven in de eigen tuin en is het koud en guur, dan biedt de pallet kachel heerlijke warmte. Kortom, een fijne plek!!

Welcome to Gruunlaand, our resting place, house and guesthouse with almost 3000m2 of land. A lovely spacious accommodation of 300m2 where you can stay as a group. In our barn we offer four bedrooms with 3 comfortable double beds and 2 single beds. There are four separate toilets, three bathrooms with shower, a kitchen with all the necessary appliances, and a living space that you can use to work, read and relax. Ps. The apartment is located between monumental thatched farms in old Valthe, a small village on the Hondsrug, Around Valthe, there are forests, fields, heaths, country roads, fens, burial mounds and megalithic tombs. Many cycling and hiking routes run through Valthe that give access to a widespread network through Drenthe and surrounding provinces. 1 child up to 4 years old can stay in the parents' room. On request, a crib/child's bed can be placed.

We are not a party location, and amplified music is not allowed. The Noordhuisjes consist of three cozy log cabins hidden in the greenery with a private terrace with a fireplace and canopy to enjoy the outdoors. An overnight stay in the Noordhuisjes is a very special little adventure. One log cabin is decorated as a cozy living room with a simple kitchen and a nice wood stove for the chilly evenings in summer or for the winter days.
