We were very happy with the Airbnb. Everything looked very stylish and even more beautiful than in the pictures. It was also very clean. The location is great too – you’re in the old town (Sassi) in just a few minutes, and most places are within easy walking distance. Only some bus stops are a bit more far away. Thank you as well for the kind notes and tips we received – they were really helpful! And one important thing to know: at the end of the stay, there’s a city tax of €2 per person per night for the first three nights. This is a regulation in Matera to help preserve the city. It’s completely understandable, but good to be aware of in advance. Thanks for everything!

Spectacular, you will never forget. Incredible views. The three master bedrooms are beautiful and absolutely clean. The bathrooms are also impeccable. Overall, it's a privilege to be there. A long-cherished dream for us. The host takes a lot of time for reception, can be reached in seconds and the concerns of how to find the house are completely unfounded by appointment at a peripheral point, with safe accommodation of the car and transfer. A truly unique accommodation with artistic charm, centrally located near the Sassi. The host was very friendly and accommodating, even heating up the oven for us. I'm very, very satisfied The house was so clean and it was a convenient structure to organize my luggage, the house was warm, and the hot water came out well. It was also close to the ruins, so I was able to walk. It was the most pleasant place to stay in Italy
