We stayed at Emanuela's and the apartment I have to say that it turned out to be really delicious. Everything new, stylish and minimal decor, all the necessary but. Apartment halfway between Catanzaro Citta and Lido, good choice if you want to move. A plus for being able to bring our dog , who really appreciated their beautiful English lawn. Both Emanuela and her husband were kind and helpful. If we return to the area, it will definitely be our first choice.

By the time I left, he had introduced me to his father, his good friend living in London, an uncle with whom I played tennis, and the card playing regulars and owner of Bar Jolli, Peppe, and his brother, Salvatore. They were born in Calgary and spoke a little English so we had that Canadian connection. I came here by myself to work from home, escaping some of the Nova Scotia winter. It was kind of Raffa to make he feel like part of the community over the holiday season. I met Babbo Natale (Santa) in neighboring Sqillace, flew to Rome to see the Pope on Xmas Eve and Day, and Raffa invited me to see the Befana on the 5th before leaving town.#1 holiday ever!

Villa Raffaele's Scirocco apartment comes exactly as the description and the photos available on the Airbnb page. The amenities are operational both in the kitchen, bathroom and living room. The air conditioning allows, at certain times of the day, to cool the air and thus be able to rest without suffering from the heat. The rooms are very nice and quiet, the kitchen offers cooking and food preservation opportunities, like at home. The views of the terrace, or the rooftop of the villa are beautiful, and we loved getting up in the morning facing the bright blue Ionian sea. It's a great place to recharge peacefully, away from the urban hustle and bustle, in a splendid setting. Access to the sea can be done on foot, crossing a small tunnel under the road, in less than 15 minutes. Nearby businesses, especially on the Botricello side, are plentiful and offer all kinds of food.
