Gîte with swimming pool in the green heart of France

Next to our farm is the small gîte on a dead end road. The old barn was transformed by us into a self-contained studio with all the amenities (incl. solar panels) for a carefree vacation; open space with kitchen, seating area, queen size bed and bathroom. In front of the gîte is the private covered terrace with fencing, so dogs can safely loose. In a separate piece of garden, there is the swimming pool, which our guests can use. Suitable for 2 people. Pets are welcome.

For the peace seeker and the nature lover, we rent our gîte, "La Piqûre", in the northern part of the Creuse, about 300 km south of Paris, with a fabulous view over the hills and clean air. It is located in a small "hameau" and is on a quiet unpaved road. At the bottom of the hill flows La petite Creuse. The gîte is full of comforts and also a good base for hiking, cycling or motorbike tours. A 15-minute drive away, there is a swimming/recreational lake.

It is adjoining the house we live in. Enjoy private access with closed parking (for a standard sedan), comfort and charm in a highly sought-after area. Cross the road and you will be on the protected lagoon of La Saline les Bains in less than five minutes.

Available: free boat, tandem rental, bike rental for rides, baptism in old Peugeot 203 car by reservation. One animal on a leash accepted.

Charming quiet house on the heights of Sainte-Sévère-sur-Indre. Possibility to accommodate 4 people thanks to a separate bedroom with double bed and a sofa bed in the living room. The house also has a large terrace and garden, where you can enjoy an outdoor lounge, deckchairs, and a barbecue. All the basic amenities (sheets, towels, shower gel/shampoo...) are provided with the rental.
