Silver Fox Barn is a stone barn conversion in the hamlet of Hetton Hall, near Chatton, which we fell in love with and fully refurbished in 2015. If you want peace and quiet, fresh country air, and an abundance of wildlife, this is for you. Warm and cosy, with beamed ceilings and a log fire, the Barn is furnished with hand-crafted furniture by Indigo, comfy modern sofas, and finishing touches of local and historical interest. Ground floor - Entrance hall with cloaks and WC. Snug room with TV, DVD and games. Farmhouse style kitchen with pine table, range cooker with electric oven and gas hob, combi microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and French doors opening out to the enclosed front garden and patio area. Lounge with wood burning stove, TV with Freeview, DVD and arch over patio doors leading to the rear enclosed garden. First floor - Bedroom 1 with a Super king-size bed, en-suite shower room, heated towel rail and WC, and walk-in dressing room. Bedroom 2 with a Super king-size bed. Bedroom 3 with Twin beds. Bathroom with over bath shower, heated towel rail and WC. Services - Electricity and oil central heating included. Logs fully provided in garden log store. Wi-Fi. Shaver point. Take it easy at this unique & tranquil getaway. This cottage is deceptively spacious downstairs with a traditional lounge at the front & then a beautiful Garden room extension on the back. It is perfectly located in the lovely community village of Lowick. Lowick boasts 2 great pubs within walking distance & also a fabulous village shop where you can purchase home made food & local produce. It is very close to the Cheviots & also lovely beaches if you enjoy walking. 13 mins drive to Holy Island

This comfortable 3 bedroom cottage is situated on a working farm, with St Cuthbert’s, St Oswald’s and the Sandstone way passing through. With Lindisfarne, Bamburgh, Alnwick and Berwick-upon-Tweed nearby there is plenty to keep everyone entertained. After a day of exploring, return to the cottage to relax and unwind in front of the wood burning stove. Secure storage of bikes and kayaks can be available on request.

The garden is safe for pets and fully fenced. The cottage is a 15 minute drive to Cheswick Sands, one of the most stunning beaches in Northumberland. The cottage is the perfect base for exploring Alnwick, venturing to the Edinburgh Festival or visiting Holy Island. Our local pub is a 10 minute drive in Norham.
