A very nice and quiet area. Angel was very kind and the house was spotless, we would definitely stay here again.

Lovely brand new well furnished immaculate apartment with fabulous views over the Pyrenees mountains. Which can be enjoyed from the balcony. We did not meet Juan Marie but his mum, despite our lack of Spanish, was a delightful host. Great place to stay if you are driving across Pyrenees to France. Good food and supermarket options in nearby town of Alizondo only 8 kilometres away.

We had a very nice time in Etxalar! The accommodation was exactly as advertised on the pictures, comfortable, clean and extremely quiet! The video to find the house was very helpful and it was convenient that we could arrive at any time. Sonia had provided with wood so we could start a fire which was very appreciated! The house is a short drive to beautiful villages and hiking trails with stunning views, and also quickly accessible from the coast with the highway.

Whenever we travel we look for tranquility and comfort, and in this escape to Elizondo we hit the spot. Juan's apartment has been a total success: it is perfect for a couple, comfortable, bright and with everything you need to feel at home from the first moment. Also, it's just a two-minute walk from downtown and you can leave the car parked right in front. Communication with Juan, the owner, was excellent from minute zero. The one who received us on the day of arrival was Asier, to whom we thank for his kindness and sympathy. Juan also sent us a very complete list that he himself made with interesting places to visit and restaurant recommendations, which is greatly appreciated when you do not know the area. We are delighted to have booked this place and we sincerely recommend it. It's one of those places you know you'll be happy to return to.
