This cottage at Grateful View is conveniently located in beautiful Madison Co. Accessible to Rt 29 and centrally located to local breweries, wineries (across from Prince Michel), and hiking. A few local places to visit include: Bald Top Brewing Company, Early Mountain Vineyard, the Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park (Old Rag Mtn and White Oak Falls). An easy 15-minute drive to Culpeper or 35-minute drive to Charlottesville with historical sites, restaurants, and antique shops not far.

The first floor contains a beautiful kitchen, dining area, full bathroom featuring a whirlpool tub, and cozy living room with a wood burning fire place. The second level holds the bedroom with a comfortable king size bed and a half bathroom. There are two porches where guests can relax with their morning coffee or evening cocktails while enjoying the wooded and mountain views.

Peaceful Secluded Old Rag Retreat

The spacious one bedroom yurt is located high on a forested hillside in the middle of 15+ acres. Come enjoy a natural and serene getaway with all the comforts of home- a full kitchen (ie, all utensils, setting for four), a bathroom with shower and laundry, a queen bedroom, and a queen foldout sofa in the living room by the wood burning stove. The windows roll up from the outside and have permanent screens inside. There is also a BBQ grill, a separate firepit, and WiFi via satellite.
