Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Brome-Missisquoi Regional County Municipality

It had everything I needed and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Anne Marie even had a fire going in the fireplace for my arrival. Even though this spot would be ideal in the summer because it's right on the lake, I found it to be very beautiful and comfortable in the dead of winter. It was plenty warm, and easy to get in and out. I couldn't be happier with both the home and the host.

My workers really liked it they would have stayed longer if your airBNB would have been available.

Accommodation well suited to our needs. There was nothing missing. The area is quiet and there are local shops less than 10min away. In the kitchen, the equipment is minimal but we were able to manage. Attention during the winter, it is forbidden to park on the street at night ($$).

This place is the perfect retreat for any group looking for a peaceful lake house experience. The pictures were accurate, the house was very clean, and its super close the Canadian border for those who wish to take a quick trip. The host was very helpful and responsive. We appreciated the smores ingredients that were there. I would recommend this place to any small group or family looking for a lakeside getaway. I would go back. Beautiful area.

This is probably one of the best homes we have stayed at in Airbnb. The pictures do not capture just how wonderful this home and the land it is on. The home is decorated really nicely, very colorful, with lots of nice stain glass. The entire home is very comfortable, including the beds and pillows, and there are many places to sit and relax. There are a lot of kitchen amenities and the home is uncluttered and spotlessly clean. The yard is so nice to spend time in and the hot tub is great. There aren't any pics of it but it is the kind with jets and big enough for 2 adults. My only regret is not staying longer!

The farmhouse style home was cozy, very clean and in a picturesque, quiet location. Nick and Sara were easy to get in touch if we had any questions. Would highly recommend this property!

My family and I had a short, but great stay when we were in town for an event. We had a blast in the garage playing darts, ping pong and doing a puzzle. We did end up taking a few dirt roads to get to the Airbnb, but it’s a beautiful spot and has plenty of space for a large group. We would highly recommend Missy’s house to others!

I stayed with Frederico for a week and it was very pleasant to stay there. It was a cozy, comfortable place to stay and Frederico was very kind and helpful. I felt comfortable and had everything I needed. I liked the fact that I was able to use my private living area including basic kitchen equipment and I was happy about the fitness mat in the living room!

Great location, close to skiing, park, and spas. Cozy and warm accommodations with beautiful surroundings. The hot tub is great. Elaine is very helpful!

Highly recommended! We loved Dany's place - it's roomy (we were 4 adults), bright, very nicely decorated and super clean. We felt at home and very comfortable. The living and dining room area is perfect for relaxing by the fire or spending evenings at the large table. The kitchen is very functional and well equipped with cookware, dinnerware and cutlery, all very nice and good quality. There were also some cooking basics like sugar, tea, spices, oil, etc. The location couldn't be better; quiet and surrounded by nature yet close to restaurants and cafes and shopping (a short drive). It is also very close to Mt. Orford ski lifts, which worked very well for us as we were there for a few days of skiing. Communication with Dany was easy and fast, as was the check-in/check-out process. Thank you Dany!

A beautiful little hidden treasure, for those who love nature, recharge, take the time to take the time, breathe fresh air and cuddle in a beautiful blanket by a fire.

Our group enjoyed Hélène’s place for our 1-night getaway! Nicely appointed & great location to the cute walkable town of Bromont. Only recco that I have if possible would be a small sign on the back door of the building where it was recommended to enter. Like “Bromont Lodge Entrance” or something similar. While it is the only door, it appeared to lead to a medi-spa, so we were confused:) Once we stepped inside all other instructions were crystal clear! Would love to check out another of Hélène’s places again!

Perfect peaceful stay, close to Jay Peak and the Inn's restaraunt is right down the road. Right on the river, we enjoyed being able to do a polar plunge in the woods to start our day! Our pup felt right at home and it's a perfect place to stay anytime of the year

My sister, cousin and I just returned from a night away and we had a lovely stay. We were looking for a peaceful space to have a laid back, girls night and this was just what we needed. The house had everything we needed. The maple syrup and maple candies were such a nice added touch. We would definitely stay here again!

What a lovely spot! We didn't have good weather, but that made for a cozy stay and a chance to enjoy the huge windows. A short drive into town, and a great getaway if traveling with dogs.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Owl's Head Cabin for a long weekend skiing at Jay. The cabin is small and cozy, very warm, and the right size for two people for a weekend. In addition to the main bed, there's a loft with a sleeping area, but you'd have to be very small to get into it and enjoy it; I'd guess the cabin would be a bit small for a couple with children but maybe if you're out all day it'd be okay. Cooking appliances worked well. The one note of caution is that you have to drive on a somewhat rough, uphill dirt road for at least 3 or 4 miles to reach the cabin. We fortunately did not have to drive during a time when there was actively snow falling on the road, but the 2wd sedan we rented definitely would not have made it in those conditions; it was a little harrowing even with just the slush and ruts left after plowing. So be careful if your trip coincides with nastier weather! Jason was very communicative and left clear instructions. Overall, we had a lovely stay.

We had a wonderful and relaxing girls weekend at Le Shac! The place was clean, well stocked and very cozy. We had everything we needed and then some! We loved exploring the property with the beautiful ponds and forest. Patricia was a fantastic host. She was very responsive, friendly and welcoming! We look forward to staying here again!

We loved staying at Merle's! The location was quiet and peaceful. Lots of space for my pup to run around and be safe. Will have to return when it's not raining to check out the stars!

My girlfriend and I went to Vermont for a wedding and had a great time, this cabin was great for the two of us to have space away from all the busy events of the wedding and relax. The hot tub was amazing and it was very secluded. Pay close attentions to the drive in instructions, the road referenced in that section of this Airbnb's page is definitely not for a car and is very narrow.

We sat by the waterfall and read for several days before we ventured out. It was just so beautiful and peaceful. Cabin was quirky and fun. Lee and Ian were so helpful and responsive. Ian even brought their St. Bernard, Nugget, down to visit with us when we asked to see him. If we could suggest any change it would be the bed. We found it very uncomfortable, but that could just be our 70 year old bodies, too. Overall, it was a lovely experience. The waterfall is just awesome.

Magic cabin in an idyllic setting. Pure peace and quiet. Total privacy and natural silence that’s a rarity today. And it’s dog friendly. Absolute perfection. We can’t recommend highly enough!
