Monthly Rentals in Burden Lake

Hummingbird cottage was great! We loved the small kitchen to make easy dinners, the access to the lake, the fishing, it had everything we needed!

We were staying at Maria's for our daughter's wedding. Not the most relaxing of events but Maria's was our home base and peaceful tranquility. We wanted for nothing as it was all provided for us with her accommodations that felt like home.

The home was so impressive one of the nicest decorated places with quality furnishings throughout that we have stayed at. The setting was pretty amazing, private with great views. Enjoyed my coffee in the morning sitting on the cozy couch on the deck overlooking the water. The sunset views over the mountains and lake were wonderful. Everything was there that you would need for a stay. Loved the fireplace and the two story great room with all the windows. The pool table was a great hit with our guests. Austin was the perfect host and we appreciate the opportunity to stay in this beautiful home. We are coming back again this year and are already looking forward to our next visit.

If you're looking for a peaceful getaway in the NY mountain woods and love the rustic brewery experience, this is an awesome place to stay! We enjoyed driving the mountain roads by day, exploring neighboring towns (especially getting a mineral spring spa bath and filling a few gallon jugs at the Saratoga Spa State Park with the State Seal mineral water). By night we enjoyed the various beer offerings of Jon the Beer Diviner in the brewery, especially liked the Stout and the Scotch Ale (Glen was right : ) Saturday night we loved the live music and delicious pizza too. Great fire pits on the deck which we enjoyed mostly on our last night all by ourselves after everyone left. Peaceful, eclectic place and exceptionally nice folks, Cindy and Jon! Got some great ideas from the local patrons, Cohoes Falls for one! And even though the weekend was rainy and it snowed as we were leaving, we thoroughly enjoyed this off the beaten path gem in the woods and you will too! We will def be back <3
