Phil's place was a dream - tucked away from the rest of the world! When you stand in the open doorway of this 1927 log cabin, you'll look out to see only trees around you and the sky above. Turn in and find the wonderfully warm log-burning stove, unique wood detailing in each room, and the charming handmade heart-shaped lock on the door! We loved our long-term stay here, and recommend several places nearby - the Vreeland store for baked goods and great coffee, the Weis center for hiking, dessert at the nearby Soulmate cafe, and Breakbites for delicious tacos! Phil was easy to communicate with, and went above and beyond for us during our stay. He is a great host, with a beautiful place that he has evidently put a great deal of time and care into making as comfortable as possible for guests wanting to stay somewhere out of time and off the beaten path.

Ellen's place is in a nice quiet neighborhood. The entrance is private and enters into a small kitchen perfect for breakfast or warming up a meal after a day out. The bedroom/living room is spacious as well as the bathroom. Everything is clean and easy to settle into. I would be happy to return to Ellen's place on my next visit to NJ.

Our host was amazing - she greeted us upon our arrival, making us feel right at home. The place was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, quiet HVAC, plenty of linens, excellent water pressure and appreciated the adjustable shower head. We came for a two-day escape and were not disappointed. Many parks and trails within minutes of this location. Truly a credit to the Airbnb community!

Upon checking in for our extended stay, we were delighted to find that the home far surpassed our expectations. It’s beautifully designed and decorated, a testament to the designer’s exceptional attention to detail. The host’s prompt and helpful responses made our stay even more enjoyable. I plan to return to this home whenever I am in NJ again.
