Monthly Rentals in Butternut Basin

Stayed a couple days to relax and explore the Berkshires. The house was peaceful, comfortable and had style. Will happily come back again!

This place is soooooo cute and really clean. The room is updated and much nicer than any chain hotel room. The appliances are new and high end and the bathroom tile/shower and fixtures are also very very nice. I had a great view of the backyard and it was perfect for my little dog. If you DON’T want an overused, overpriced hotel chain that makes you pay extra for your pet this is your spot-highly recommend.

Rachel's cottage is without a doubt the best airbnb I've booked. House is spacious, cozy, and clean with an incredibly well-appointed kitchen (cooking aficionados take note) and a lovely yard with multiple seating areas. Location is also great—close to downtown Great Barrington without being right in the middle of things. Property aside, Rachel was incredibly communicative and even reached out in advance to ensure I'd have a smooth check-in experience. Would gladly stay here again and couldn't have asked for a better host!

Picture the scene, crawling out of a toasty warm bed, a dusting of snow outside as you brew up a pair of espressos. The heady aroma entices my lovely bride of 27 years to poke her nose out from under the duvet. As we enjoyed our first sips we were treated to the excited chortling and gobbling of over twenty turkeys as they passed by the cabin. The peace and quiet was punctuated by the occasional woodpecker and wild turkey. We enjoyed a glass or two of wine sitting in front of the warm glow of the wood stove. Peace - quiet - nature - comfort - The Cabin gave us the pause we needed - we recommend everyone, young and old to slow down, reconnect, discover each other in this beautiful cabin in the woods!
