Period cottage in a area of outstanding natural beauty within the Peak District on the banks of the river Dane. Lovely views and walking straight from the door along the river, through the woods and up onto the Roaches, Tittersworth ( Bird Sanctuary circular walk around the reservoir, 5 miles) Ashmount is strictly for 2 guests as you are in my home albeit the space is yours for the time of your stay i live in a totally separate part of the property I am close enough should you require help

The Folly is a sympathetically converted one bedroomed barn, attached to the main farmhouse. It has been furnished to a high standard and sleeps 2. It is the perfect base from which to explore the stunning Peak District, with walks and rides from the doorstep. We are situated in the country village of Wormhill, Derbyshire, deep in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Closest towns are Tideswell and Buxton. We are very close to the Pennine Bridleway, Monsal Trail and Limestone Way.

Located just off Buxton market place down a hidden cobbled street you get the peace and quiet but in walking distance of everything you require. There are two bedrooms, a bathroom open plan living, dining, kitchen area, plus a small flagged area if you would like to sit out with a glass of wine.

We have available secure parking for one car upon request a minutes walk behind the building in front of the cottage. The train station is a five minute walk away.
