Idyllic cottage retreat

This romantic retreat is set in the heart of the picturesque village of Butterton which overlooks the beautiful Manifold Valley in the Peak District. The lanes are lined with pretty sandstone cottages and an idyllic ford runs through the cobbled street below the cottage and a great country pub is round the corner. This cosy hideaway is an ideal couples escape featuring a stunning bedroom with vaulted beamed ceiling and luxury features throughout. It has a boutique hotel feel in rural heaven.

West View Cottage - a perfect, cosy base

Tucked away in a peaceful location above the lovely village of Tideswell, West View Cottage is the perfect base to relax and explore the beautiful Peak District. Newly renovated, this self contained, cosy annexe is a light and welcoming space with its own entrance at the back of our family home. It has beautiful views across the valley but is within a short walk of excellent pubs, restaurants and cafe. Walking and cycling from the door or a short drive to all the Peak District attractions.

The Bakehouse Cottage In Buxton

This quirky cottage was once an old bakery known as “The Pies” this building has undergone major renovations over the years and recently we decided to share this beautiful cottage with everyone. Located just off Buxton market place down a hidden cobbled street you get the peace and quiet but in walking distance of everything you require. There are two bedrooms, a bathroom open plan living, dining, kitchen area, plus a small flagged area if you would like to sit out with a glass of wine.

Our lovely little cottage is about 200 years old. It's cosy and slap bang in the middle of some of the best scenery the UK has to offer. Excellent for walking, cycling or simply site seeing the beautiful Derbyshire Peak District National Park. Castleton is such a pretty little town with it's own castle, 7 watering holes (all dog friendly) fabulous restaurants and delightful cafes. We are situated between Bakewell and Buxton. A beautiful, recently converted barn which was originally the Groom's Cottage. Newly renovated in 2018 this one bed, one bath cottage is set in an idyllic rural location with breath-taking views and direct access across the owners' fields to a footpath which leads either down to the famously picturesque village of Ashford-in-the-Water or uphill to the drama of Monsal Head. Separately available is The Coach House, next door, also new and sleeping 4 people in equal style.

We have available secure parking for one car upon request a minutes walk behind the building in front of the cottage. The train station is a five minute walk away.
