Hay Loft Flat

Located near the highest village in Britain, Flash, in the beautiful Peak District National Park, 1540 above sea level, in the winter we do get some snow, the Hay Loft has been designed to create a great base for exploring the countryside. On it’s doorstep are; Dragon’s Back Ridge, Chrome Hill, Axe Edge Moor and Buxton. We are only 30 minutes from Mam Tor, Bakewell and Chatsworth House. Curlews fly around the farm. Within a mile is Flash Bar Stores serving breakfast, lunch, cakes and groceries.

Top floor flat with far reaching views

Central but quiet 1 bedroom flat in the heart of Buxton. Great views but please bare in mind it is 80 steps to get the the front door, Centrally located so all that Buxton has to offer is a short walk away. Buxton is a vibrant town with an active events calender. Recently decorated and refitted throughout with WIFI and internet tv, two comfy sofas. There is paid parking on the doorstep and free on street parking close by. Ideal location for town stays and walking breaks in the Peak District.

We are in our 10th year of hosting (7 years on Airbnb) The Cobbles is our first holiday rental. Ground floor flat in the centre of Buxton walking distance to all tourist attractions. Street parking (free) (no permits) (no yellow lines ) Well behaved dogs (max 2 ) welcome to (pet fee applies ) We have a brand new larger flat upstairs called Cannons Loft it’s in the same building, sleeps up to 5 people, perfect if 2 families want to holiday together.

This lovely remote location lets you unwind in the great outdoors, with breathtaking hill walks straight out of the door. The most popular route being ‘The Dragon’s Back’. Buxton, the local historic spa town, is just a 15 minute drive or 60 minute walk. There are a handful of local villages - Earl Sterndale, Hollinsclough, Longnor and Hartington that are all relatively close. The perfect place for a relaxing getaway.
