The Old Barn, Buxton - A Dream Come True

It's rare to find a place that's both historic and modern. It has been my dream to renovate the unique and private barn at our Grade 2 family home and finally it has happened! I would love to share it with you. Ours is one of the oldest houses in Buxton dating back to the seventeenth century and was once a coaching stop on the medieval road to London. It is now a boutique property set near the common, ideally situated to explore the Peak District yet just a short walk into the town centre.

The Devonshire suite is a stunning apartment with many original features and luxury touches through out. The lounge dinner offers sumptuous seating including a sofa bed for extra guests if requested. A beautiful kitchen with views over the Buxton crescent offering everything needed for your stay, having the Buxton Opera House, Pavilion Gardens and the Devonshire Dome directly outside there is no better location Surrounded by French, Italian, Thai and many more fabulous restaurants and bars.

2 double bedrooms on entire 2nd floor apartment

The top floor is exclusively yours. There is shared access through my front door and the first set of stairs. 2 double bedrooms. An extra travel cot and z bed are available if you bring your own bedding. Spacious living room and bathroom. For basic self catering ( no sink) there’s a TV, kettle, microwave-combi oven, toaster, double electric hot plate and mini fridge. All the necessary crockery. If you use all the crockery before checkout I will put it through the dishwasher downstairs.

Delightful Studio House-superb location!

Our studio has been a complete labour of love and now we're finally ready to share this beautiful little spot. You can wake up and hike until your hearts content, take in the sights in town and end your day reclining on the sofa with a cosy pellet burner. We have ample parking, private entrance, walking distance (1.2miles) to town (bars & restaurants), bus stop to Buxton / Macclesfield. Wifi, Sky TV,Netflix. Non smoking. *We do not have a hob or oven* EV Charger (added cost). Sorry no pets.

Welcome to our home, in the heart of Victorian Buxton - where we have made every effort to make our home NOT GREY! After buying this property in 2023, we worked tirelessly renovating every room, and re-working the layout to give a much more 'worldwide' feel to this little Peak District flat! With the charming coffee shops & restaurants of the town, the surrounding beauty of the Peak District minutes from our door, and the best tap water you'll ever taste, you'll fall in love with Buxton.

We are in our 10th year of hosting (7 years on Airbnb) The Cobbles is our first holiday rental. Ground floor flat in the centre of Buxton walking distance to all tourist attractions decking area to the back of the flat. Street parking (free) (no permits) (no yellow lines ) Well behaved dogs (max 2 ) welcome to (pet fee applies ) We have a brand new larger flat upstairs called Cannons Loft it’s in the same building, sleeps up to 5 people, perfect if 2 families want to holiday together.

Hummingbird Cottage, Central Buxton Peak District

Welcome to Hummingbird Cottage situated in the heart of the Spa Town of Buxton. This quaint cottage has everything you need for a relaxing break away, whilst being in a great location for nearby attractions this famous town has to offer. The cottage sleeps four in a kingsize and a double bed and has dreamy decor throughout so you will be super cosy during your stay here. Wi-Fi is available, as well as Netflix on the 43” Tv so no home comforts have to be compromised!

1st Floor 1 bed flat. Light, spacious and modern.

I double bedroom self contained flat. Separate shower room, well equipped kitchen and a spacious and light living room. Free wifi, 42" flat screen TV, complementary tea, coffee, biscuits. Suitable for 2 adults. The property is located in a quiet residential area with a green space behind. About 10 mins walk from the town centre. There is a small amount of off road parking in front of the property and plenty of easily accessible on road parking to the rear.

“The Goods Van” at Stoop Farm

Relax in total comfort, in our converted 1950s railway goods van. Once common place on farms around the Peak District this little gem is far removed from the animal shelter it once was! Fitted out to the highest quality, featuring a king sized bed, comfy sofa, kitchen, log burner and smart TV, etc. Something quite special, situated in its own secluded area, a few steps away from the magnificent views of Chrome hill and the Dove valley beyond.

Spacious house in a great location, onsite parking

Buxton and the Peak District are a mecca for walkers, cyclists and those who just want to get away from it all. Harthill House is a welcoming, spacious house with an ideal location. Tucked away in a quiet, leafy corner of town but within walking distance of the town centre, train station, Pavilion Gardens & Opera House. This 3 bedroom house is comfortable and well equipped with two parking places and fibre optic wifi throughout.

Lavender Cottage at Hawthorn Farm

Lavender Cottage is part of a converted barn at Hawthorn Farm. The cottage offers self catering accommodation, which comprises of two double bedrooms and one double/twin room all with their own en-suite’s, a fully fitted well equipped kitchen/diner and a spacious open plan lounge. Ample free on site parking is available for guests. The cottage is in easy walking distance of the town centre and available to book all year round.

Washgate Lane Hut at Booth Farm

Washgate Lane Hut is a cozy and peaceful shepherds hut situated in the stunning Peak District just a short 15 minute drive outside of the spa town of Buxton. Countless walking routes just on your doorstep, this really is a perfect base for your next adventure. Your will be met by your host, who will be available to meet all of your requirements throughout your trip! Enjoy!
