The connection to the center of Lisbon is by boat, which is 100 meters from the house. The apartment, renovated in 2020, is located in Cacilhas, a lively town on the other side of the river Tagus, known best for its seafood restaurants. Lisbon can be reached by boat (10 minutes, from 1.40 €), running from early morning until 1:20 at night. The boat reaches Cais do Sodré, Lisbon's most famous nightlife spot (the pink street). Cais do Sodré is also a metro station (green line) from where you can start your tours in the city.

Casa René is located in a beautiful historic building from 1892 and has been restored to its former glory. Besides this Studio with kitchen and private terrace, it has 5 other flats. A 5-minute walk away, you can take the ferry across the Tagus River to get to the centre of Lisbon in 10 minutes. Casa René is close to a pedestrian street with numerous local restaurants and bars, but because of its good insulation and garden location, it is still very quiet, both inside and outside.
