Dolce Vita House

The apartment is located in a dominant position on Lake Maggiore and the ancient village of Belgirate, located within a residence of only eight units, one of the few solutions with a swimming pool in the surroundings (shared with a few and open from mid-June until the end of September). A few minutes' walk away you will reach the lake and the town center where you will find all the main services: mini market, bars, restaurants, laundry, pharmacy, tobacco shop. Car parking inside the residence.

Picturesque, Historic Villa with Island Views

Gaze over stunning 180-degree views of islands on Lago Maggiore from the expansive, floor-to-ceiling windows of this lovely, 230-year-old rustic stone villa. Antique furnishings perfectly complement the historic architecture. The house is on 3 floors so a fair bit of walking up and down stairs is required. The main bedroom is on the upper floor and the 2nd bedroom (two single beds) and bathroom on the lowest floor. Ideal for couples and families but not for the elderly or groups of 4 adults.

La Torre Lesa

Torre Lesa is located in the picturesque historic center of the town in an ideal, central and quiet position, a short distance from the lakeside. The two-room apartment is arranged on two levels: on the ground floor, there is the living room with a equipped kitchen, with access to a portion of the garden for exclusive use; the bedroom and the bathroom are on the upper floor. From the first floor, an external staircase leads to the terrace, from which you can enjoy the view of Lake Maggiore.

The guesthouse is situated up upon a hill inside a 8,000 m2 private park full of Azaleas, Rhododendrons, and huge Chestnut Trees an easy 15 min. drive from either Arona or Stresa. Lakeside beaches, excellent restaurants and shopping facilities are within the close vicinity by car. A huge natural reserve with peaks offering panoramic views of lakes and alps can be reached in a few minutes on foot. The guesthouse's 60 m2 ground-floor apartment has an arcade covered patio and its own gardens.

Tower on the lake

Charming turret of the 19th-century castle of Belgirate with lake view, a fantastic sunset from the panoramic terrace is assured and opposite you can admire the hermitage of Santa Caterina. The villa is rich in history, poets and writers have passed through, where they stayed, captivated by the beauty of the lake and Belgirate. A tragic fire destroyed part of the house in the early 1900s, and it was completely restored in the 1990s. In the immediate vicinity is Stresa and its islands.

Step outside and you’ll find yourself moments from the ferry stop to the Borromean Islands, excellent restaurants and a beach. Nearby Stresa is ten minutes away by car.

A stone house built at the end of the 18th century, whose restoration was completed in 2017, perfect for those looking for peace and tranquility, but also an ideal base to visit the Maggiore and Orta lakes and the Ossola, Formazza valleys and other places of cultural and naturalistic interest.

Relax in beautiful and scenic Italy. Our humble studio apartment offers expansive views of Lago Maggiore and mountains. The area is quiet and peaceful. Private lake access is a 10 minute walk. If you'd like to walk to Stresa, we recommend first driving 3 minutes and starting up the hill (23 min total / avoids steps). Please note: You will have to walk through our upstairs living room (8m distance total) while we wait for approvals to build external stairs.

The House of Sveva

Welcome to the House of Sveva, a magical place with a wonderful view of Lake Maggiore. Located on the top floor of a building from the 19th century, it has just been renovated and is complete with every comfort (air conditioning in every room, TV, kitchen complete with dishwasher). A few steps from home you will find the ferry stop for the Borromean Islands, some of the best seafood restaurants in the area, a boat rental and an equipped beach.
