The Shoemaker’s cottage is a lovely, stylish place and a great location to enjoy Richmond away from the busyness of town. It’s an easy walk across the bridge into town with lots of cafes & shops. Be aware that only the pub is open for dinner, but it’s good. Pooley wines is a few minutes drive & sensational for tastings & pizza lunch (Fri-Sun). Great welcoming communication from Nick.

Lovely, comfortable little cottage nicely furnished for a pleasant visit. Close to a nice village and well sited for touring Coal Valley vineyards and other activities. Felt right at home with a warm welcome by Rob and a fresh loaf of bread to accompany breakfast provisions. Looking forward to a return visit.

The cottage that Hana and Ben have shared is truly beautiful and such a cozy play to stay. It is so lovely to arrive to fresh bread, jam and a collection of their farm eggs.
