Monthly Rentals in Canopus Lake

This is a gorgeous guest house with a lovely view of the lake. Didn’t get to try the sauna but appreciated that it was available all hours. Shower and bed were nice! We traveled here on bike while going from Poughkeepsie to NYC on the Empire State Trail. The house is close to the trail and they gave us good bike directions. Great place to stop to split up the 100 mile journey - right in the middle!

Linda was great! Super friendly and willing to help! the place was super cute and clean! Very nice space with plenty of room. Couch is comfy and reclines, good water pressure and good hot water. Bed was comfortable. Quiet surroundings. I would come back easily.

The house was a beautiful mix of old with modern . Beautifully updated and lovely views of the river. The block was quiet and safe and a fast drive to Beacon, hikes, parks. Perfect for a getaway. It is very clear that Sarah and Aaron are attentive hosts. Highly recommend! Beds were really comfortable and the apartment was so clean. Would definitely stay again .

The Art Grove was the perfect place for me and my parents to stay! It has all the amenities you need during a stay including a grill outside for cooking and a fully stocked kitchen. Russell and his wife, Janet were incredibly friendly and helpful. The artwork around the house was an added bonus to enjoy during the stay! I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a beautiful home to stay in while visiting the area. It’s also perfect for those who love to go hiking, as there are plenty of trails nearby!
