Sandy's first and only Tiny House! Although this home is located just a mile from Hwy 26 within Sandy's city limits, it's located on a private 23 acres, so you'll feel completely secluded. This makes it the perfect place to stay while visiting the Mt. Hood area. The tiny house was built to capture the amazing view of Mt. Hood. The home was designed around a moving window wall system that completely opens to the outdoors allowing for one of the best views of Mt. Hood. We hope you enjoy!!!
“This tiny home is magical. This is by far the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at! So many amazing little touches. It’s super peaceful and it was such a nice getaway from the city. Thank you!!! Will definitely book again.”
This cute vintage 1922 cabin offers a perfect retreat or romantic getaway. Enjoy a relaxing cabin stay surrounded by trees and fresh air. Stoke the woodstove and watch the fire, read, write, relax, and savor the simple life. Welcome to Cedarwood!
“I spent a little over 4 days at Cedarwood, and it was one of the most relaxing places I have ever stayed at. Ian’s description of the cabin is very accurate- simple structure, basic amenities- but Cedarwood Cabin had so much more charm and history than a new structure in the woods would have. It’s near other cabins/homes but nestled into a patch of woods which makes you feel secluded (however, I was traveling alone, so it made me feel more welcome to have neighbors!). Even though the amenities are basic (hot plate for cooking, washing your own dishes, etc) I was so surprised at how well stocked everything was and the bathroom was nicer than my studio bathroom here in Portland ;). I sat at the little yellow table to draw, and found myself taking breaks to look up at the tree tops while the fire crackled! It was a cozy place to come back to after a hike at Mirror Lake. There’s a lot of craziness happening in the world right now, and having a host like Ian and a place like Cedarwood really made me feel like a friend was right there with me. If you are lucky enough to book this place- PLEASE make sure you read the guest book for the cabin history! It was really great to learn about it and made the stay that much more meaningful!”

“if you read the reviews here, I don't have a lot to add Oma and Lindy were very welcoming and the location was as good as it gets. This cabin was everything we hoped it was when we saw it listed. Oma is an amazing gardener (food) and it was the perfect season for watching the spring growth. If you have a chance to take the recommended hike up Big Buck Creek, I do recommned it. bring something you can get wet in cause the pool at the end looked very inviting on a hot day. or at least something to soak your toes in the creek below the pool.”
