Holiday rentals with beach access in Cefalù

This was our second stay at Alessandra’s Casa sul di Mare. We have only done the same AirBnB at this special place since traveling. It is the best location for the view and allows our daughter to play all day on the beach while we can see her right from the room. It has the best restaurants within a block and entertainment. It is historical and makes you feel like you transported back in time. Alessandra is a beautiful host and had the best recommendations for Cefalu. She was very helpful when our daughter was not well and offered to arrange for her to see a doctor. Only in Sicilia do you have such compassion and welcoming hosts like Alessandra. Grazie mille ci vediamo l'anno prossimo!

Very nice, small apartment on the ground floor with space to park your car and direct access to the beach. The kitchen was well-equipped, although the electric kettle was missing (but we're in Italy - coffee and wine dominated here!:)) There were also sun loungers and umbrellas for the beach. A good base for Palermo, Trapani, and Segesta. Giuseppe received us in person, explained everything thoroughly. He also recommended us a great restaurant for Christmas dinner.

Overall we had a good time. Sebastiano was a great and very helpful host. For example we had a little trouble getting there by public transport (which we really wouldn’t recommend, a car is very practical in this area!) and he send his mother to pick us up from a city nearby. Selinunte was at that time of year very very quiet and empty and the beaches had a lot of algae - maybe consider this if you’re looking into spending time there. The kitchen was well equipped and cooking there was comfortable. The inner courtyard was very cozy, although obviously sealed off from the outside world.

Lovely apartment, and Anna was an excellent host. Lots to do in the area and further afield. Wonderful roof terrace with great views. Highly recommend.

Stefania was an incredible host!! She gave us many recommendations for local restaurants to get the authentic Palermo experience! The beaches nearby were gorgeous. Well worth what we paid, Mondello is a beautiful area. We felt right at home! I wish we could have stayed longer.

We stayed in Giselda and Colin's apartment for 6 nights. Very nice that we were met at the gas station downstairs, so we could drive up after them. Excellent apartment, with terrace where you have a beautiful view. The sea is as wide as the crow flies but without a car it is heavy. We drove down where we reached a nice small beach overlooking Cefalú via a path. Apartment is well equipped.. we did not cook but everything is there to do so. Dishwasher and washing machine are what was very nice. In addition to Cefalú, there are many beautiful places to visit that are worth visiting, including: Castelbuono, Santa Stefano di Camastra, Castel di Tusa and others. Definitely recommendable

A delightful, warm , helpful and friendly host. The property was a good size, tidy and well decorated. The location was perfect as you could walk to the beach , restaurant and amenities in no time . Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

This was by far the nicest airbnb! Floriana is a class act and has thought of everything -providing answers in advance, recommendations, etc.The house is lovely and decorated by an experienced host. It is just beautiful. Initially finding the property was a little challenging- but after the first time, all was good. Easy drive to Cefalu. A MUST DO—-she arranged for Chef Francesca to cook for us at the house beach front! Just terrific. I will recommend this house and Floriana 1000%! She also has other houses and boutique hotels in Palermo.

We had great time in Alcamo. The apartment is very comfortable and nice. There are 2 bathrooms which is very handy. The terrace is a good place to spend time. There is also a washing machine, toys for the beach and soft blankets :). You really appreciate them during colder evenings. The nearby beach stretches for 10km and is clean. Water is turquoise. There are some shops nearby, bakery and lot of supermarkets in the cities around Alcamo. Stefano is a very helpful, kind and responsive host. We got spoilt with some beautiful local pastries! Thank you. We would like to come back in the future for another holidays.

We stayed for four weeks in march. We had a great time, we fell in love with the place and their lovely dog Fiocco who is very sweet, also to children. Therèse and Viviana were very kind and helpful when we had questions. The house is situated in the middle of a large lemon grove and a daily stroll to the sea (it's a pebble beach) is greatly recommended. The nearby village San Stefano di Camastra is great for an ice cream and a coffee. We expected more hikes to be near, as it is located right next to Nebrodi but finding and reaching hotspots (hiking or otherwise) was ultimately harder than expected. We encountered this across Sicily though and is not related to the house itself. Our children loved to roam around the premises and find their own little adventures. All in all, we had a great relaxed stay and felt in tune with rural Sicily.

nice holiday in early April 2025. The apartment is very nicely located, close to a beach. The south and west coast of Sicily are quite untouched and underdeveloped. You get a lot of tips from the host. He is always ready for you. We enjoyed visits to, among other things, selinonte, agrigento and sciacca. I recommend it! (as far as the shower is concerned: it is indeed somewhat inconvenient but there is plenty of hot (and hot) water. So not insurmountable). Grazie!

Roberto is a very welcoming host, he is very responsive and gave us some great recommendations in the area. He even brought us breakfast twice. The house has an unobstructed view of the sea with private access without sand space to settle in but with a small concrete terrace. We also enjoyed the outdoor terrace which is sheltered from the wind and where we spent very pleasant evenings. We had a good week in Sicily and the location very close to the airport (15 min) was a plus. The cities of Trapani, Palermo, Mondello, Segeste are easily accessible within 1 hour and Cefalu at 1h20.

We spent my husband's birthday and the holidays in Fulvio's comfortable villa and enjoyed a wonderful time there. The house was very clean and spacious and the mentioned amenities were provided. There is a restaurant (Graffiti) within walking distance of the house, but for the other amenities, such as a supermarket and the like, I would still recommend a rental car. Highly recommended is Mondello beach, even in the winter period it is good to stay there. Palermo city is about 20 minutes by car from the villa and the airport about 25 minutes by car. There are several (historical) sights in the area, so you won't get bored. Fulvio himself is very helpful and responded very quickly when we had a question. We would definitely recommend this place and host.

Wonderful place right on the water. Gives an amazing view up and down the coast. The outdoor kitchen with rolling doors was such a great idea. My wife and I found it a perfect spot for a glass of wine and some cheese on the cooler spring nights we were there. Special shoutout for having the electric heater available that we used outdoors. Paulo was always responsive. Great place with easy travel to Palermo and Cefalù and your own parking spot. So much fun!

We loved our stay at Tusa Bay. The location is amazing - two minutes to swim in the sea. The apartment is clean, modern, well equipped and quiet. Great apartment in a great location. I definitely recommend it.

Leti was responsive and efficient from the moment we booked our stay. She organised a taxi from the airport and he was waiting for us. We had a couple of questions and she replied promptly. The view was wonderful and encompassed the whole of the bay and there was always something to see/going on. It could get a little noisy at night as the locals dined out exceptionally late -the restaurant was still receiving guests at 11pm! Thank you Leti

Antonio's apartment in Cefalu is great - perfect, central location - easy to access and Antonio helps out with questions right away. The apartment is in a centuries old building right on the square overlooking the oldest Cathedral in Sicily. The apartment is updated, clean and comfortable - Antonio has thought of every detail to make your stay easy - two full clean bathrooms, kitchen is stocked with everything you need, beds are comfortable. Cefalu is a beautiful, relaxing sea side town - good restaurants and shops - the hike to La Rocca was an adventure. Loved our stay with Antonio.

Place of Michelle and Doriana was cozy and in a great location with calm neighbourhood and beautiful view with the terrace. Everything looks as described and the recommendations were really helpful. Not sure really what negative we can see about it.

We had a fantastic time in a beautiful place. Our host was extremely helpful throughout our stay from check in to departure. The apartment suited our needs perfectly. Location was great and the apartment had everything we needed. Would recommend and love to rent again.

Our stay was beyond our expectations. The apt was clean, well appointed and the hosts were both very helpful and easy to communicate. The beds were very comfortable and kitchen was fully stocked with glassware and dishes. The view from the rooftop terrace was magical! Beautiful view of both mountain and sea. The hosts were very helpful in securing a taxi for our trip to airport. Rob and Francesco were wonderful hosts!

We had a wonderful stay at Enricos apartment. There was plenty of space for the 4 of us to (a family with 2 boys 10 & 13) be very comfortable. The location is absolutely perfect with just a short walk to beautiful and affordable bars and restaurants. Panificio Bakery below the apartment was the real Cherry on top when it came to having beautiful fresh pastries for breakfast on the spacious balcony. For those interested in the Culture & History of the Island Enrico provided perfect information of how to get there etc and was always very responsive if we needed a little help via text message. Mondello is an excellent base for a holiday to Sicily with good transport links everywhere. Finding free local parking close to the apartment for our hire car was easy. We give Enrico & his apartment 10/10 for everything and would definitely use it again. Thank you, Enrico, for everything.

Very nice complex of small villas with swimming pool in he middle, nice view on the sea. Safe area behind the gate in walking distance from the beach. Good position to explore Trapani, Erice, Zingaro, Terrasini and Segesta. Good communication, warm welcome with water, bottle of vine and biscuits. Recommended!

We had another lovely stay at Martha’s flat. Perfect location and amazing balcony with morning sun for coffee and evening sun for a glass of cool white wine. Silvio went out of his way to make our stay perfect.
