Authentic sailing ship Vrouwezand: Peace and quiet!

The Vrouwezand is a historic sailing ship and sails in the summer over mudflats and IJsselmeer. In winter, it is located in the city center of Groningen in a unique location, and can be rented as accommodation for music and/or culture lovers. The cozy living room has an open kitchen with an extensive inventory, including a catering oven and 2 refrigerators (together 250 liters). Yvonne van Scheijen, biologist and skipper/owner, lives in the skipper's house at the back, and is happy to welcome you on board.

The Entenkoje offers you a unique nature experience in the Märkische Schweiz Nature Park. You do not need a driving licence and can drive the boat without any previous experience. In the boat you will find a cozy double bed with a view of the starry sky. On board, there is a small gas stove with coffee, tea and the necessary accessories – perfect for your breakfast directly on the water. A bathroom, shower, a fully equipped kitchen & a parking space are available to you in our base on land.

The GORCH POTT is suitable for a holiday for two or alone. Here you can enjoy life on the water in the Diamantgraben, a short tributary of the Elbe, and explore the Hanseatic city from here.

Enjoy the sounds of nature in this accommodation that is anything but ordinary. The Cultural Cargo LORIN apartment is completely rebuilt in authentic design and up-to-date standards. There are lights with variable intensity and colors, underfloor heating and good mattresses. The modern kitchen and living room are combined in one room. The "port cabin" and the "starboard cabin" each have a double bed of 130 x 200, as well as additional space for larger feet.

You overlook the Herenwal, the street of Heerenveen with the most beautiful canal houses that leads to the city center. At the end of this canal is the basin, which you can recognize by the large pancake ship that is atmospherically lit in the evening. Here you will also find the post house theater and the cozy street full of restaurants!
