Giraffe Room - The Old Catskill Game Farm Inn

Stay at The Giraffe Room inside what used to be the Giraffe Barn at The Old Catskill Game Farm. Located inside an abandoned zoo of what was once America's largest and first privately owned zoo. You can explore the grounds, go in the animal shelters and be secluded in 200+ acres with 3.5 miles of paved walkways while witnessing nature take back an American landmark. The inn features a full kitchen, outdoor hot tub and fire-pit. Decorated with remnants of The Catskill Game Farm. This is our most luxurious suite, the only King room, located on the main level of the Inn. It includes a walk in shower in the en-suite bathroom and a 3 person Jacuzzi tub in the main room. Sleep 3 in the king size bed or a please request a cot for the 3rd person. A nice room with a private bath.. I am posting this a room for 1 person... It has a very nice posturepedic single bed most of the time but I can put in a full size bed as well so 2 persons can stay for 10 bucks more... If you like old historical houses this is interesting because this room is one of the oldest operating hotel rooms in America.... The building is most likely late 18 century but was built as an Inn, not a house so this is a historical hotel room easy to keep distance

These elegant accommodations are a half-hour from Cooperstown, Glimmerglass Festival, Hamilton, Clinton and Utica. Artist Residency part of the year. Room 2 is a queen-bedded room on the first floor of the Wheeler House and has a private bath with walking shower with antique furnishings, marble bath, the peace and quiet of a past century. The Maxfield Inn is a restored Mansion built in the 1830's. It is located on 105 North Main Street, Naples, NY. It is within walking distance of restaurants, 2 wineries, 2 craft beer breweries and a Distillery. Each room is decorated with restored antique pieces.
