Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Central Plateau

Very well appointed house and super clean. Comfy beds and lounge area made for a great stay. Perfect for a family.

There were three generations staying in this lovely cottage. Everybody had a spacious room. The cottage was very well equipped with spare pillows, blankets, kitchen appliances (incl microwave) and extra condiments, coffee of all kinds etc. I walked every morning in the area, very peaceful and lots of flowers in the gardens. Great park just 2 blocks away. 10 min walk to the main street with shops and cafes. 10 min by car to CBD and really EASY drive via HWY... It is a central location for travelling further out of Hobart. There was a collection of books and enormous collection of DVDs. We had a great time and I would stay there again.

Lovely home. Warm and has old days charm. We were happy that we chose to stay here.

House was spotless clean! Had a really comfortable stay for a night. Thank you Leeanne for hosting :) Just to take note there is electric heater for the bed, those coming from country with no winter might overlooked it. Haha, was really cold for the night until we chanced upon it at a corner of the bed.

We were higher than the clouds! Full of Nostalgia and character, this home was a budget friendly, warm and spacious home. It came well equipped and was private. The wood fire on the crispy nights was perfect. It is set in an amazingly beautiful forest on a big mountain. The drive is stunning and the trees and mountains and river views are spectacular and endless. Beautiful local produce and friendly locals.

We had a wonderful family stay. The view is amazing. The space is big enough for a family but also very warm and cosy. It was central to everything. The utensils in the kitchen were excellent. Everything you needed and more. We would definitely book again.

Andrew was a great host, his place is a great spot to explore the area. The place is comfy and we'll set out with everything I needed. the bathroom was great and the fireplace kept it cosy on the colder nights.

My friends and I absolutely loved our stay at Sven & Tracy’s Grappa Court Penthouse! The apartment is exceptionally spacious, clean and had all the amenities we needed. The location is perfect for those wanting to explore North Hobart and surrounds. Sven and Tracy have been lovely hosts, so easy to deal with and all communication has been prompt and handled professionally. We would recommend this apartment to anyone, and would love to stay again sometime in the future!

We are 3 ladies who stayed at Sussex for 2 nights prior to doing the Three Capes Walk. The place was excellent for us, as we had 3 separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.. We had a lovely sitting area to sit and chat. Superb location Walking distance to the Salamanca and Ferry areas. The area felt safe. The bedrooms were quiet to sleep at night. Perfect for us. I would highly recommend this place to family and friends.

My partner and I enjoyed our stay, we both raved about how comfortable the bed was and we thought the doona was heavenly. It had a great location and was only a few minutes away from a lot of the launnie attractions

The space is just beautiful, tranquil and felt like I was in special space. Great bedding. I arrived after dark and it was a big tricky parking, getting in etc but got it all figured out. Fantastic location.

My only regret is staying just one night! What a comfortable, clean, modern space. The kitchen was beautiful and well stocked. The air conditioning worked very well in our very minor heat wave. Julian was clear with instructions on parking and accessing the building which I really appreciated. We will for sure be back.

Everything was taken care of. Loved it. The location, near Cornelian Bay was great. we can recommend The Boatshed as a place to eat.

Julie's property is the perfect base to explore all that Hobart has to offer! Julie really has thought about every little thing you could want from a little getaway. The water views were stunning to wake up to and the gentle sounds of the ocean waves were so relaxing as the sun went down. Bellerive is also a short drive from the main areas of Hobart so everything is within an easy reach. Would definitely recommend Julie's place to anyone wanting a relaxing getaway in Tassie!

The location was great and the apartment was exactly as described and perfect for the 5 of us. Also, the hosts were very proactive and responsive/helpful. Highly recommended. Will definitely stay there again on our next trip to Hobart.

We stayed in this accommodation for one night as our first getaway with our 10 week old baby. The views in every direction were breathtaking! Close to town so we could stock up on groceries and run back out if we needed something. Hot tub was lovely and beds were comfy. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a fabulous period home with some gorgeous updates to kitchen/dining family rooms and upstairs primary bedroom and en-suite. The older parts of the house are very well maintained as well. Lots of home comforts here with ample kitchen wares to cook, a great coffee machine, brand new kitchen range, a full laundry room, and loads of fun games to play both indoor as well as on the beautiful river-front lawn. Peta-Jane answered all our questions within a few minutes and was delightful to work with. I would not hesitate in any way to recommend this beautiful home and the lovely owner :)

We loved it. It felt like arriving at home. The garden is magnificient, the plants inside are stunning. The kitchen is extremely well equipped to cook. The fire place is gorgeous. We have a great time.

Central location on the main road of Derby. House was very comfortable with a very well stocked kitchen (by Airbnb standards). Fireplace was excellent for the cool nights and the multiple outdoor areas were all well used. The bike lockup and workshop is very in point for Derby and allowed us to store our rental bikes securely.

Wonderful stay, the property and grounds are amazing!! Hosts were super responsive and so helpful with my questions. They even helped connect us to some local services (ie babysitter and taxi). The industrial / farmhouse design was lovely. We were two couples with two small bubs. The only thing I’d call out for anyone travelling with children is the two ensuites open out to the rooms so hard to use the bathroom once your little one goes to sleep. Also need to bring blockout blinds as the en-suite windows don’t have blinds.

Beautiful spot. Wifi didn’t work but we enjoyed being off grid and unable to use our devises. Thank you for having us!
