Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Central Plateau

Our stay on Kim's place was definitely one for the books. Even my children enjoyed the stay and my plan of them getting off the gadgets worked out so well. A good way to spend the Easter. We loved the place and the going back in time vibes. The only con is finding the place. It took us 30mins going round and round, I can't contact Kim as I had no reception that time. Also the door in the bathroom was not closing properly. Lastly, it was a cloudy night, I was excited to see the stars but was unlucky. Wished we could stay one more night.

We had such a beautiful, soft landing here after 3 days of travel with small children. Nicole & Jarrods attention to detail is second to none. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and at home. The space is warm and inviting, the children's room has special little touches for small people and the soft furnishings throughout the entire house are so thoughtful. We cooked dinner most nights in the well equipped kitchen and we ate out on the deck gazing across the Bass Strait. The firepit was ready to toast marshmallows and the spa was warm and waiting for us. It really was a magical time in Penguin thanks to this place and it makes you really appreciate when hosts go all out and are so good at what they do.

We LOVED our stay in Trevallyn! The view & the light in this place is amazing. It's well set up and very comfortable. Walking distance to the Gorge & downtown! And a great home base to explore the area. We highly recommend this fabulous place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Albion Gardens. It definitely felt like being in a home away from home, and a luxurious one at that. The house and gardens are magnificent; privacy and peace are assured. Will highly recommend to friends and family wishing to visit and stay in Launceston or to those who would like a place to escape to for rest and rejuvenation.

As soon as we walked through the door we felt at home - what a great place with amazing views of the ocean and peninsula which were awesome at sunset. The master bedroom in the morning with the open doors overlooking the beach/ocean a perfect way to start the day. The grounds are fantastic and enjoyed the odd fresh apple or two from the tree thanks. Great artwork created by the host of the local areas a nice touch. The house is better than the photos and everything is of top quality throughout. There were only two of us but would fit 6 comfortably. Easy reach to everything in the region. I have stayed in dozens of airbnbs over the years but this place is up there as the best. Thanks for sharing your beautiful house.

Thank you Tracy for a lovely stay. Apartment was beautifully appointed and had everything we needed. Wonderful spot to rest and reset. So many lovely things to see and do. The scenery was magnificent. Really made our first trip to Tassie a wonderful one!

My partner and I enjoyed our stay, we both raved about how comfortable the bed was and we thought the doona was heavenly. It had a great location and was only a few minutes away from a lot of the launnie attractions

We had a very warm welcome from Trevor, Rossi and Elmo (Very friendly pup). The cottage was stand alone just a little ways down the paddocks and was cozy/private. You will need to use the 'plasticy' toilet paper though as their pipes cannot handle normal toilet paper. If you can handle that though this place is amazing. It had all the amenities you would need for cooking and the animals were a highlight of our trip, taking out some bread and our morning coffee with ground coffee provided by Rossi

Nice and quite amongst the bush. Bill takes pride in his garden and always on for a chat. Bushy Park relys on tank water, and during dryer periods care should be taken to conserve water. There's a very handy laundromat in Ulverstone if need be.

Great place in a private, clean, tidy & peaceful spot. Located in a lovely & lofty suburb close to town & not far from the magnificent gorge...just a tip, it's a good idea to have a car.

second stay here. perfect again, great location and view , quiet spacious and provided with everything you'd need for a business trip or a holiday. flexible with check in/out even though I've mucked up the dates- nothing was a problem, awesome hosts reply quickly and very accommodating and helpful. will be back again for sure!

This is a little gem, perfect for a few nights surrounded by trees. We loved splashing in the creek, and started gazing from the rear verandah. Everything was as described and we had what we needed for a lovely stay, despite a big rainy day. Would definitely recommend staying.

What a beautiful place in the most stunning setting. No detail has been spared - everything is so beautifully thought through and considered. It was pristinely clean and had everything you could possibly need. The hot tub was a wonderful addition after a long day of exploring! We would recommend to anyone. Sarah was a perfect host and super communicative. We’d love to come back.

We had such a lovely and memorable stay at 3 Twiss Street! The cottage has been beautifully restored, full of character and thoughtful finishing touches that really make it special. The wood burner added a cosy charm, and the bedding was wonderfully comfortable — perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. I especially loved soaking in the bath at the end of a busy day and curling up with a book in front of the fire. It’s a place with bags of personality and such a warm, inviting atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a charming and restful escape!

We’re so glad we chose to stay at Stuart’s place during our trip to Cradle Mountain! The farm is absolutely lovely and peaceful — such a rare opportunity for us to get away from the city and truly unwind. Stuart and Lucinda are wonderful hosts; we loved walking around the farm, chatting with them, and enjoying the fresh fruit and veggies. The room was cozy, the bed was very comfortable, and we really felt at home. I only wish we could have stayed longer to explore more of the area!

Gaby and John were delightful hosts, greeting us upon arrival they showed us the cabin and let us settle in. Breakfast each morning was delicious and the view was spectacular. The cabin was the best spot to relax and watch the wildlife go by. We loved making friends with the local wallaby.

Allen was incredibly clear with instructions that helped to navigate the remote area. An incredibly beautiful location with a very rustic vibe (wooden fire heating, solar electric, gas stove, etc). It was an incredibly nice retreat and home base in the middle of Tasmania. Not for those looking for a cushy experience, but exactly what my group of friends were looking for in the Tasmanian wilds.

We had a lovely stay here with lots of space for the kids to run and roam, something we don’t have back home. But more significant to us was the personal touch. Pat came down to deliver eggs and milk and the next night, offered to light up the bonfire. Kids had fun learning how to do so. After which, he offered the kids a ride to see pademelons in the estate. They were so thrilled to see some. It’s the personal touch that means a lot to us. Of course, the space itself is lovely. It’s an hour half drive to cradle mountain but hospitality, privateness, calmness of the place more than make up for it!
