Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Chicago River

Great space. Very clean and had all the amenities we were hoping for. Vic was very communicative and kind. Check in was easy and instructions were excellent. I would recommend this place to stay and this host for sure!

This is our second time staying at Alec’s place and we loved it just as much as the first time! Alec is super communicative and kind. The place is great, well equipped and clean. It’s a great location with a bakery, playground and train station all within easy walking distance. My son especially loves spending time in the backyard with Alec’s two huskies ❤️

My girlfriend and I had a weekend getaway trip to Chicago. We were looking for place to stay and found Paola’s place. We fell in love with her place. It was charming and laid-back place, in a quiet neighborhood. Close enough to walk to restaurants and explore a different part of Chicago. We loved every single minute of our trip, the house felt like home once you walked in. So grateful that Paola was able to help me and surprise my girlfriend for her birthday, with balloons, cake and a bottle of champagne. Couldn’t ask for a better host! Would definitely recommend and we will have to be back sometime soon!

My sister's and I rented Elizabeth's place for my birthday weekend. THe house was amazing. The basement area gets very chilly but space heaters were provided as well as blankets. The beds are extremely comfortable and the house is beautifully furnished. There was a fire pit in the back that we wished to utilize but no wood was supplied. The neighborhood is quiet and street parking was very accessible. Most nights we were able to park right in front of the townhouse. Overall we loved Elizabeth's place. She was always responsive and was a great host. I will definitely return for future visits to Chicago. Thank you for your hospitality.

After two unpleasant AirBnB experiences I swore off AirBnB, but I took a chance on the website due to a family emergency requiring a dog-friendly place to stay 12.5 hours from home. I booked with Erika and Jamie, and I had a fantastic experience! I would definitely book their home again. The backyard was spacious for my two Australian Shepherds. The space was as described and as expected. They were very responsive if I reached out with questions or when I needed to extend my stay. The house was clean, bug-free, and had functioning heat, which was huge for this southern girl and her dad. The wifi worked well for me to work remotely in the mornings while dad and I had separate streaming services running. I am not much of a chef and the chaos of the trip did not leave much time for cooking, so I cannot speak to the functionality of the kitchen. However, I can praise the local restaurants for having some top notch food. Thank you Jamie and Erika for your hospitality!

Despite being only about 30 metres from a main road, we didn't hear anything. Slept like a log. The shower is great. Very important for me. The apartment is large, and it had everything. Damien was attentive, and supplied everything we asked for. Very close to bus, and about 14minute easy flat walk to blue line. Al the equipment was first class. Reccommend

We had an amazing time and the kids were entertained every single moment with all the different activities we were able to do even though the weather wasn’t the best. We enjoyed the pool and the water was warm enough even though was cloudy and getting dark. Jacuzzi was great for afterwards. Overall very accommodating host and everything was clean and available to use.
