Holiday rentals in Chrome Island

We stayed at Erin’s place for a few days — my husband, a couple of friends, and I — and the experience truly exceeded our expectations. The house is even more beautiful in person: cozy, stylish, and fully equipped with everything we needed to enjoy a memorable stay. The space is peaceful, perfect for resting, and also great for spending quality time together. Honestly, we wish we could have stayed longer! We definitely want to come back and are already recommending it to our friends. Thank you for such a special and comfortable stay.

This cottage exceeded our expectations and was perfect for our family, offering much more space than the photos suggested. It came fully equipped with all the necessary amenities and then some. The atmosphere was incredibly comfortable, adding a touch of luxury to our stay. My kids were thrilled to have the pool just across the street, which made our vacation so much more relaxing with easy access to entertainment. The hot tub provided a wonderful spot for unwinding. Being located in a resort meant we had access to fantastic amenities, including a delicious taco and margarita bar right on site and a beautiful Aveda spa that was surprisingly affordable, all within a minute's walk. It truly felt like a getaway!

Heidi's place is absolutely wonderful. The house is ideally situated in the quaintest part of Courtenay, has a large backyard, and is extremely well-appointed. The beds were extremely comfortable and the house had all the amenities we needed for our stay in Courtenay. It's obvious that a lot of thought and care has been put into this little house. Everything was impeccable. Highly recommended!

Super location with beach access for great low tide walks. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops close by, a few are walking distance the rest are a short drive. Andrew's place is very quiet, nicely appointed, has everything you need, very comfortable. Highly recommend checking it out if you're coming to Parksville !

Wildwood cabins was a lovely and private getaway. Reg was super responsive to all of our questions and has maintained a space that is a beautiful retreat. It’s perfectly dog-friendly (on leash) and within a short drive of everything you’d like to do on the weekend. A couple of notes: I’d recommend bringing your own ground coffee for the MOKA pot (what is provided runs out quick), and only a few groceries for breakfast/lunch due to the small fridge. Otherwise, you’ll have everything you need on site. Enjoy your island stay!

My partner and our children reserved this lovely home for a retirement celebration with our in laws. The home was spacious for all six of us and our family dog and there was something for everyone to enjoy. The home is nestled in a beautiful mountainous area with lovely views from all the front windows. It's rustic yet modernized layout and structure made it the perfect place to cozy up together or spread out and enjoy some quiet time separately. It's location is close enough to many trails and beach access points to get out and explore. The hot tub, sauna and cold plunge were definitely a highlight for our Spring trip and did not disappoint.

Stunning place literally steps from the ocean. Clean, comfortable, the attention to detail in stocking the kitchen with all one needs to make a fabulous meal. Our only wish was a fire table on the deck. We loved our stay!

Pat's place is awesome. We, a family of four - two adults and two kids (one is at teen age and another one is younger), spent a great long weekend there. Bright, cozy condo with great view from almost any window. It fits all of us, has a nice kitchen with everything you need for your stay. Heated pool with a hot tub, which we and kids enjoyed, just downstairs. The Bay is very good for paddle boarding. We did twice over our stay. If tide is low, you can reach a tiny island where you can find lots of purple and orange sea stars, crabs, and oysters. Ladysmith and Nanaimo suggest great dinner options. Nanaimo also has a nice walkable Marina merging into Maffeo Sutton park. If you like hikes, we tried Extension Ridge Trail hike near Nanaimo and can strongly recommend it to anyone. Malahat Tower is a fun place to visit, just one hour of driving from "Inn of the Sea" resort, we've been there, and were not disappointed. Will definitely stay again at Pat's place.

Wonderful cottage just on the edge of Rathtrevor. We had friends camping in the park and we didn’t want to camp with a toddler so this was the perfect solution. Pet friendly, private, quiet. Cottage had everything you’d need. Host was very responsive and helpful. Had high chair, pack and play, baby gate. Would stay again!
