Third stay at Butternut Bay, and it truly does feel like a home away from home. We have such special family memories because of Butternut Bay and its owner, first Jeanne, and now Meagan who is continuing her legacy--and it really does feel like that. Meagan cares that your time at Butternut is one you will remember. We thoroughly enjoyed her sharing of the St Lawrence Seaway map online, so we were able to track and learn more about the ships that were passing, day and night! Looking forward to our next stay, and more amazing family moments. Thank you Meagan!

We thoroughly enjoyed our Easter weekend at this lovely chalet. The house was clean & well kept. Any issue was met with an immediate response from Paul & dealt with in person. I strongly recommend this chalet for a quiet, little getaway.

Josée is an amazing host, accommodating, responsive, and extremely welcoming. She came to visit us when we arrived to introduce us to the place and tell us about her history. She took the time to explain everything clearly and answer our questions. ☺️ The cottage is absolutely beautiful, fully equipped, spacious, warm and very comfortable. We were 11 people for the party to my boyfriend and we had a nice time with friends to be able to enjoy the different advantages of the accommodation: spa, fire pit, magnificent river view, board games, etc. I highly recommend visiting this place, it is extremely clean and we feel all the love put into the details to make the cottage a friendly and welcoming place for its visitors. We absolutely loved our stay at Kyle's cottage. We were 2 couples staying for a relaxing weekend. The cottage was super clean with everything you could possibly need for a perfect time. the hot tub was clean and ready for use. Kyle was kind and answered all our questions quickly. We would 100% reccomend Kyle's cottage. We will return!

I wish there were more than 5 stars to give! The hosts went above and beyond, so warm, welcoming, and accommodating. Rob did everything possible to make our stay exceptional. The loft was spotless, ultra-modern, and fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. Absolutely loved this place and the hosts! Can’t recommend more!

A real little cocoon! The place is cute, cozy, with beautiful river views. Ideally located a stone's throw from the village, it is a perfect place to recharge your batteries. The kitchen is small but very well equipped, there is everything you need. The host is super friendly and welcoming — you immediately feel comfortable. I highly recommend it!

The house is outstanding. Everything you need for a perfect stay. Beds are very comfortable and we all slept well. Kitchen fully equipped. Super clean and beautifully decorated. The views are incredible. Hosts were very responsive plus gave us tips of places to eat and told us things that are going on in the area. Super friendly. We will definitely be back to stay again. We had a wonderful weekend stay at Myriams place. It's a comfortable apartment with everything one needs. Very calm area, close to the town of Lachine and we found a wonderful regional park nearby for hiking.

We first planned to visit Ottawa, but we quickly escaped the city and found this peaceful, quiet place. The indoor fireplace is a masterpiece, and the nearby lake is simply breathtaking. We disconnected in less than 24 hours. Now we can’t wait to come back…

One of the best Airbnb cabins in the middle of the nature

Andre is an excellent host who was very responsive and helpful, with great recommendations. We 110% recommend this beautiful cabin! It is private, clean, has a fully stocked kitchen, a big waterfall shower, cozy fireplace, super comfortable beds and a relaxing hot tub (perfect for star gazing or bird watching). I believe this place is perfect all year round for any of your adventures - we were lucky to have gorgeous sunny days filled with exploring the property and also a bonus snowy day, enjoying a book on the big comfy couch and soaking in the tub. Also, our dog absolutely loved it. Will be coming back for sure!

**** HIDDEN GEM**** So ill start with the fact that I stayed here with my father last summer for 4 nights and we Loved it, so we re booked it , and this time was AMAZING as well, Nice quiet and private place that has been fully renovated , Also the host was very accomidating with a late check out! I would choose this place again for sure as the price is just AMAZING To... 5.5/5 !!! Thanks and hope to stay again sometime !!

Such a great spot! Quiet, cozy and straight forward with everything needed for a relaxing and genuine rural Canada experience. A perfect place for a couple to get away and enjoy! Highly recommended!

Jane and Randy were welcoming hosts. They quickly explained how things worked, like the toilet and steps to the upstairs. They were friendly, easy going and respected our privacy. Beautiful setting. Wild animals and birds could be heard under the starry night sky, next to a well prepared bonfire. Fun experience. Good people.

We had such an amazing time ! So private and peaceful , so calm.. the views are amazing! We were also lucky to see some deers in the morning , overall an incredible time , we can’t wait to come back !
