Cabin holiday rentals in Claysburg

This is the second time I have stayed at Kim’s cabin! My friends and I absolutely love this Airbnb! Clean, Quiet, Spacious, Hot Tub, and much more! I recommend it highly!

I’m not one who typically leaves a review but Olivia definitely deserves a review. It was for my son’s 18th birthday and when I tell you, everything was so flawless. She was nice enough to help me decorate one of the cabins with happy birthday balloons, and a banner! this gesture really shows me that she goes over and beyond for her customers. I truly appreciate that from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for making our stay fantastic!

Tylere was a fantastic host. He was very responsive and addressed all of our concerns in a very timely fashion. There was a lot of snow while we were there and he had the driveway cleared twice so we were able to get out. Thanks!

Our family had a wonderful stay! The place is gorgeous; amazing scenery from the wraparound deck! Enjoyed the hot-tub, ping pong, and cozy evenings catching up with family around the fireplace. We had a wonderful time at this Airbnb! The house was fantastic, and we especially loved the small creek next to the property—it added a lovely touch to our stay. The outdoor TV, fire pit, and hot tub were well-maintained and perfect for relaxing evenings. The basement was a bonus. There's a pool table and plenty of activities to keep us entertained.

I stayed there for 3 nights with my wife and 2 kids. We loved it, the place is great to get calm and unwind. Loved the outdoors, there are hiking trails you can explore. Kids loved the swings. The house itself is a true rustic as it should be. Huge fireplace inside. The doors and windows all have bug screens. There are also board games you can play. What really added to the right mood was the old vinyl record player! Would definitely stay again!

Everything was amazing. I would have liked if the cell signal was better but im camping so that's not a big deal. it would be nice if there were more trails onsight. only a few fishing spots u could reach. And a boat would cost 800 a day which I couldn't afford. But all that said, litteraly everything else was perfect. Beautiful location, great ppl and they provided everything you need for a camping trip. I will definitely be back.

Location, ambience inside and out, roominess, cleanliness, decor, and price are outstanding for this Blue Knob house. All 7 of us had plenty of space and the laundry, deck, parking, street quietness were all above and beyond. Modern appliances combined with the colors and pictures and furnishings to give that ski mountain getaway, yet elegant feel. Don't hesitate to check it out. Thanks!

We were looking for a place to spend the weekend fishing some of the great PA class A fishing streams in the area and Laura’s place met our needs perfectly! As a bonus it was an easy walk down to the Little Juniata River! Loved waking up to the sounds of the birds and trains that frequently run through the area. Also appreciated the Seattle’s Best Coffee in the morning!

Urban Saddle Ranch is so very unique. If you like quirky, rustic and off the beaten path quarters than this is the right place for you. The cabins are located in a private wooded setting. The only sounds you will hear are from the roosters, pigs and geese. There are several beautiful Clydesdale horses along with ponies, dogs, ca, pigs and a famous turkey by the name of Walter. I cannot say enough good things about the owners. Our son is attending a college nearby and we have been coming here for the past 4 years. Wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Wonderful family weekend. House is in a wonderful location near Raystown Lake. The host was immediately responsive to any questions we may have had.

We really enjoyed our peaceful stay at the Spruce Creek Cabin. It exceeded our expectation of having a peaceful and beautiful location. I would highly recommend Spruce Creek Cabin for a relaxing retreat.

Richard’s stone cottage is nestled in some of the most beautiful territory I’ve ever seen. He was lovely to deal with and made everything super easy. The cottage was decorated spectacularly, had everything I needed and was extremely clean. I arrived to the cottage after 10pm and Richard had basically completed a turndown service with gentle lights on, a drawer with towels nudged open, and outside lighting on. I felt right at home. The only challenges that I personally experienced were: low water pressure (understandable for the age of the building and the intricate plumbing) and the small shower (I’m 6’2 and it’s very tight, but this is a small space overall.) None of these challenges should deter you from staying at this property. If you’re in central rural PA, this historic accommodation should absolutely be at the top of your list! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Richard - thank you so much for the last minute hospitality. This was a weekend away with book club and the cabin was perfect for us. The kitchen had lots of room for us to prepare food and not be in each other’s way and the dining table was big enough for 10 of us to eat together. We loved the deck in the back with comfy chairs facing the autumn trees. Maggie was very helpful. She answered our questions quickly before the trip and on the first day. We are already talking about coming back next year!

We enjoyed our stay. This is the second time we stayed at one of the cabins and are looking forward to the next time.

Even better than the photos, the perfect place for a weekend getaway! Pamela was responsive and incredibly thoughtful to leave us wine and chocolates for Valentine’s Day.

Perfect get-a-way weekend. The co-host, Lil, came to meet us shortly after we checked in to make sure everything to our satisfaction. Lots of space inside and huge porch outside. We could not get the gas fireplace to stay on and unfortunately Lil was not sure how it worked. Everything was clean and well maintained with the exception of a missing smoke detector. We would happily return and recommend to friends.

This was an incredible getaway weekend on the farm. The hosts were very friendly and offered so much to do during our stay. We borrowed art supplies and painted outside but you could also take a pottery class or wood bowl making class with the owners. The tour of the farm was fascinating and all around was a great experience. We would be happy to stay here again.

My friend and I had a great stay at Crystal’s cabin! She was very flexible and helped us shift our reservations twice. The cabin is tucked away off of a busy road but it’s so far back it feels entirely secluded. There are trails behind the house but it’s good to note that it is gaming land so be prepared if it’s hunting season or dress appropriately. Overall we loved our stay and hope to return next year!

This is our second time staying in this cabin, that's how much we like it. It is a beautiful cabin surrounded by peace and beauty, yet near enough to Hollidaysburg and Altoona for restaurants, grocery shopping, etc. It is also very near to Canoe Creek State Park and the Lower Trail. It is close enough to State College for us to take our son attending PSU out to dinner Friday night and to attend the Blue and White game on Saturday. We didn't have any issues this stay or on our first stay, so our only communication with Joshua involved checking in and he is always very quick and informative with his responses. I highly recommend this cabin for your stay.

We had an amazing stay at this cozy cabin in Petersburg! It’s beautifully put together, secluded, and offers that perfect “middle of nowhere” feeling we were looking for. Ruth was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout our stay. We especially loved the fire pit, and it was such a bonus to have firewood and supplies already there. Truly a peaceful and well-thought-out getaway—highly recommend!
