Our island rests in Sawyer Harbor surrounded by Potawatomi State Park and Idlewild Peninsula. This is a nature lovers haven. It is the perfect place for those that are looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway and up for a bit of adventure. The wooded island is seven acres and home to two cottages—Sunrise (facing Potawatomi, “the emerald wall” as Grandpa Paul fondly named the view) and Sunset (overlooking the Idlewild Peninsula). The cottages are connected by a well traveled path and a short walk.

We welcome you to stay at beautiful High Falls Riverfront Retreat only 30 ft from the waters edge. The cabin sleeps 6 w/ 2 bedrooms, 1 bath and a large open concept kitchen/living room. It has a cute loft for kids or extra guests. It has a nice sunroom, games & movies. Fully furnished including some necessities you may have left at home. Outside there’s a grill, fire pit & beautiful river frontage w/ kayaks. In winter it’s a Snowmobilers & hikers paradise! Right on the UTV/snowmobile trails!

The cabin sleeps up to 8 guests and has all the amenities of home! Relax on the deck, take the kayaks for a spin, enjoy a fire indoors or out, or ride our bikes. Play games late into the night. Resting on Star Lake and tucked into the north woods, this tiny home offers the tranquility you need to completely decompress. The Sasquatch Shores cabin is right on Star Lake, a quiet no wake lake that gives you the peace and quiet you want. Watch the sunset off of the dock or cast a line into the water! The cabin is also situated right on the ATV trail. The main offers a King sized bed and the guest room offers a Queen/Twin Loft bed. There is also sectional couch as a sleeping option!

Winter-direct access to snowmobile trails or stay cozy indoors in front of the fireplace. There are a few taxidermy species mounted on walls. Board games. Three TVs. Dish Network and Internet. Not a good swimming lake but other lakes for swimming and boating within 5-10 minutes away.
