Waterfront holiday rentals in Colico

Everything was really good. Thank you so much to Francesca and her sister for being so friendly and welcoming. It was easy to get to the apartment by train or ferry. The train station is about 10–15 minutes away on foot, and the ferry is just a couple of minutes away. The apartment is in a very beautiful place. The town is quiet, nice, and comfortable. The apartment itself is cozy and has everything you need for your stay. You can even hear the sound of the waves, which is very relaxing. It’s a great place for a holiday. I really recommend it and would love to come back!

My family and I stayed at Marco’s place for three nights and it was an absolute treat. Great location with a great view. A must stay if you are going to be in Menaggio.

Start the day with breakfast on the balcony in the morning sun overlooking the lake and ducks. Access to the lake with public wooden jetty and bathing ladder. At the end of April, search for a parking space is very straightforward. We had a great stay.

Lara was an excellent host and was very clear with the instructions to the property and how to get in. Lara also provided Gluten Free snacks and a bottle of Prosecco on arrival which was nice. Property was clean and tidy and was very short walk to everything in Como. We had a lovely stay thank you Lara.

This was hands down the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. The apartment is perfectly located right on the lake, with stunning views from the lookout. It’s fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, from the kitchen to the bathroom essentials. Check-in was seamless, and we were warmly welcomed with chocolates, sparkling wine, and fresh flowers — such a thoughtful touch. It’s about a 20-minute walk to Varenna, but the walk is beautiful and well worth it. Plus, there’s a fantastic restaurant just across the road. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Most amazing place!! Super peaceful and cheap and yummy restaurants near!! The view is INSANE!! The host is so amazing!! Completely exceeded our expectations! She is super responsive and so helpful!!! We would 100% stay here again!

Emanuela, was just lovely! Her apartment was very comfortable with everything you need for a wonderful stay! The location is ideal, as you can see the ferry station right outside the window! I could not have been happier with the accommodations!! Book it if you can!

Monica was the best host I've met. The communicaton with her was very easy, her response time is super quick. The instructions to go in to home is very clear and she is supporting the instructions with videos. Her place is exactly as it seems on the photos and maybe even more beautiful. The view from the balcony and the terrace is mesmerizing. Neighbourhood was very calm and quiet but it might be because it was off season when I stayed there. Although the neighbourhood is calm, the markets and closest shopping centers are only within 15 minutes driving distance. House is also very close to the Villa Balbianello. The house was very clean, Monica left everything we need in the fridge and kitchen. Lastly she helped us a lot during our stay with her recommendations for restaurants, shops, facilities around the region.

We loved our stay here! We booked for the week of our wedding and the location was perfect. There aren’t a ton of stairs to go up in order to reach the place either, which is nice for Italy! The hosts went above and beyond to assist with early check in, arranging transportation, and answering all questions we had. The patio area is insanely beautiful, as it the entire home.

Had 4 fantastic nights at Andrea’s place, what a view! He was helpful in so many ways - lots of great local recommendations, the place was immaculate and the hot tub was lovely! We would definitely want to come and stay again at some point! Highly recommend!

Bobby’s place is in a unique, gorgeous location with a great view. Our family really enjoyed the stay. The apartment was very well equipped and Bobby clearly made an effort to make us feel welcome.

We had an amazing stay at Paola and Giorgio’s Lake House. We felt right at home. Giorgio met us and showed us the place and how to use the Italian coffee maker to make Italian coffee which we did twice a day. He showed us the 3-day itinerary that Paula had put together for us. We did almost everything on her write up including a walk around the outskirts of Bellagio and a day of ferrying to Varenna and Lenno. We went to the restaurants she recommended and enjoyed them very much. We had breakfast each day at an outdoor restaurant near the boats. This was one of our favorite trips and we would love to return to The Lake House. Thanks, Glenn and Kay

With a week to spend on Lake Como, I wanted somewhere quiet and with personality. Nothing quite measured up until I found Teddy's place. It's on the top two floors with a lot of space and - the clincher - fantastic views of the lake from the sitting room, where I spent a lot of time. There is also a lot of privacy, despite being surrounded by other buildings. I really liked the location in Malgrate, which is walking distance from Lecco. There are several nice shops and restaurants on the road below the property, a good supermarket about 15 minutes walk away and a waterfront promenade that makes a nice running route. Teddie was a friendly and responsive host and was kind enough to drive me and my big bag to and from the station. Would recommend.

The place was very central. The room was super cute ans very clean. We had a great stay and shoukd we come back to Lecco, we would definitely consider to stay here again!

Amazing to stay in such a grand building right by lake

We spent 3 generations of vacation in Caslano. We felt immediately welcome with the small map and the attentions for everyone. The hosts are very friendly and responsive. The house is so peaceful, beautiful and comfortable for our family holiday. Surprisingly the house has a cellar with some lovely wine which we kept as souvenir!

Like apartment right on the lake, it's a dream. Once we got something from the Vietnamese in the evening and ate on the balcony. It was an incomparable experience. Our daughter liked to watch the swallows and ducks.
