Accommodation 2 km from the Parma fairs.
“The house is very close to the Parma fair area where we had to go, but at the same time it is also close to the city we visited following the advice and the tourist map that Lucia gave us. The house is tastefully furnished, neat and clean. Lucia was very kind, made us feel at ease, as soon as we arrived she offered us a coffee and the following morning she prepared us a good breakfast.”
I have a room with a queen-size bed. The space is suitable for a business trip (in the room there is a work station) or a traveling couple. The house is in a quiet residential neighborhood, in a small village a stone's throw from Sabbioneta and Brescello (the village of Don Camillo and Peppone) and not far from Mantua, Parma, Reggio Emilia and Cremona. Pets are also welcome by prior arrangement as there are two cats in the house
“I booked Monica's place by accident during me and my wife's trip in Italy. It was our last leg on a nearly 3 week Italian vacation. We were flying out of Milan and wanted a quiet place to reflect on our last couple of days. We initially wanted to book a place in Castellucchio but ended up booking at Viadana. Viadana is near Castellucchio and accessible by road. However, we ended up spending both our days at Viadana. Monica is one of the warmest and kindest people we met in our trip and we stayed at really nice Airbnbs with great hosts. However, we really enjoyed Monica's place because we felt at home and had great conversations. Monica met us at Parma station and drove us to her home. Her home is 10 mins from Viadana. She stays in the same house and obviously, her kitchen is well stocked. Because she stays in the same place, it really feels like a home compared to other Airbnbs. We loved spending time with her dog and her 2 cats. We love pets so I do not know if this will be an issue for other people. We also ended up having dinner with Monica and an American long term guest. I forgot his name but he was also very warm and we ended up speaking for over 2 hours during dinner. He also dropped us back to Parma for our train to Milan. Will definitely keep in touch with Monica and stay at her place again if possible. Will highly recommend her place for short to long stays. You will stay at a home and make life-long friends. ”
Private room on the ground floor of a slice of historic house right in the center, a few steps from the medieval Rocca dei Rossi. Also nearby are an excellent restaurant, takeaway pizzerias, an excellent pastry bar, as well as shops, pharmacies, bank, newsagent, ...
“From Isabella I found myself very well. The room is rustic in style but tastefully furnished. I loved the terracotta tiles and the smell of furniture wax. Isabella is also a very reliable and hospitable girl, made me feel immediately at ease. If I happened to come back to the area I would definitely like to come back to her!”
