Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Conesus Lake

We had a great time a Merry's place. Beautiful, old house, but very well kept. We walked into Geneva several times ; less than a mile walk. Hot tub was great, as was the propane fireplace. Just so comfortable and welcoming. We really loved the old house, and Merry was super accommodating. Great visit!!

We recently stayed at this rental and had an amazing experience. The atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The spacious layout provided plenty of room for our family to spread out, and we never felt cramped. Whether it was enjoying meals together or just lounging around, the space was ideal for quality family time. The surrounding area also contributed to the calm vibe, adding to the overall sense of peace. We would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a great place to stay with their family! All rooms in the home were beautifully appointed, and the kitchen was very well stocked with all needed utensils. The indoor fireplace was spectacular and easy to use. The great room was perfect for entertaining our life-long friends. The woods could be seen from every window, which provided a very relaxing atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor fireplace in the early evening. Everyone had a blast in the basement bar/ recreation room, where I learned that my long-time baseball buddy had some bartending skills! This dovetailed nicely to the sauna and then to the hot tub. What a great time, lol!! Great venue, beautiful home and great times. We would love to come back.

5/5 – A Perfect Family Getaway We had an incredible stay and truly didn’t want to leave. The home was ideal for a family vacation—comfortable, well-equipped, and full of thoughtful touches. My children were devastated to go! We had planned a few small adventures in the surrounding area, but they were so happy in the pool that we barely left the property. We came during spring break from upstate New York, where it was still snowing, so the warm weather and sunshine were a much-needed reprieve. The house had everything we needed: Netflix, Alexa, a garage full of pool noodles and floaties, and a lovely selection of children’s books that my toddlers adored. One of the most heartwarming moments was when Neil kindly gifted my daughter a stuffed cat she had fallen in love with—it meant so much to her and to us. This was the kind of stay that creates lasting memories. We can’t wait to come back.

We were in town to spend the holidays with family and the house was everything that we had hoped for! It was warm and welcoming and a great space for us all to spend time together. Everything was clean and the house had everything that you might need for a wonderful stay. Owner was easy to reach and answered questions quickly. We loved it and are already talking about a repeat visit next year!

We have stayed here a few times when we come to visit family. The place is always clean & located on a quiet street perfect for taking a walk. Karen has always been very receptive to messages. Check out is very easy too!

Cute little place. Right on the water as advertised. Cozy, not a lot to take care of while you’re there. Plenty of utensils, very clear instructions comfortable.

Ulrike was an excellent host. The house was clean, cozy, and we felt right at home. Her place looked exactly like the photos and the description of her place was spot on! My boyfriend and I traveled upstate to visit friends at Alfred State College. Finding Ubers, Lyfts, and taxis was a bit harder than we expected. I reached out to Uli to see if she knew of any transportation that goes to the college. She looked into buses for us and the taxi service which unfortunately, wasn’t available. Uli was very helpful on the phone, very patient, and very accommodating. We couldn’t find a ride to the college and Uli offered to drive us (which she did!) She made sure we were safe, comfortable, and made sure we had a good time. This was my first ever time staying in an airbnb and I only have positive feedback. If anyone is looking for an Airbnb in Hornell this is a great choice with an amazing host!! Thank you Uli!!

As always a great experience and stay at Caitlyn’s property. Such a great space and excellent host, definitely plan on staying there again on next trip to Alfred.

The best place to stay in Dansville. We always stay at Jenni's when i visit my parents and its always a wonderful experience.

Julia’s place was exactly what I needed for my visit to my Alma Mater: great location, awesome coffee steps away, access to downtown super easy (where all the restaurants and bars are located). Geneva is a wonderful city and Julia’s place makes it easy to enjoy. Highly recommended without reservation.
