The apartment is located on the 1st floor, it is quiet, well-equipped and very bright. It is close to the Faculty of Science, the IUT, the OIEAU, the Beaublanc stadium and the University Hospital. You can access a large shopping centre on foot. A convenience store/petrol station very close, is open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Bus line 8 is 100 m away and serves the city centre, which is 2 km away. Our house is on the verge of the countryside, at a 2-minute walk from the quaint market-town of Confolens. You can walk to the shops, the market, or the cinema, or hike along the two rivers or on the neighbouring hill-tops. Plenty to do in Confolens: you can swim, rail-bike, canoe, attend our music festival or discover Charente limousine. If you like old houses, you'll enjoy our home with its spacious rooms. It is a family house, fitted for young children. The garden is fenced and shady.

The beautiful old Abbey Town of Charroux is 8 Kms distant and we are within half an hour of Civray, Ruffec & Confolens.
