Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Costa Saracena-Castelluccio

Tina and Luigi personally welcomed us and made sure to have everything we needed in the house to not have to worry during the stay. Breakfast food and fresh eggs included! The view of mount Etna is amazing from the house… we really enjoyed our stay!

Great view and perfect place to stay for adventures on the island. It’s cosy and has all the facilities you need. Recommendation!

Everything was perfect!

Highly recommended! Uccio welcomed us and had an assortment of local foods available for us, eggs from his chickens, citrus fruits, including his delicious red wine! We felt welcome and appreciated, his children played with ours while they met and learned the names of the friendly farm cats. There are multiple destinations within 30 minutes of the farm, including a warm sandy beach, castles, Ragusa Ibla, caverns, the list goes on. Excellent host and location!

Sebastiano's place was a perfect place for our family. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds and kitchen equipped with everything you need. The veranda is the added value, both for meals and for allowing children to play. Sebastiano was a very helpful host and very quick to respond, he gave us good tips for our stay. Definitely recommend!

We were lucky to find this place! The apartment was exactly as described in the photos. It was clean, cozy and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a very quiet place. A car is recommended.

Great house to spend holiday with family, well suited for all of us 9 . Giuseppe and Graziella, met us and introduced to the house, very friendly and helpful hosts. House has all necessary for a nice holiday to feel at home, pleased to find cold water in the fridge, nice sweet grapes, pasata and pasta for a quick lunch in the cupboard, tea and all other basics to cook like home. Coffe machine did not work on first day, but hosts were very responsive and brought their own, they even bought us the coffee pods, very generous of them, thank you we really appreciated . Well located for a beach holiday, only 7 min walk to a wonderful long sandy beach. We were out of season apparently and no restaurants nearby on walking distance, but not an issue as we had a car and many around within 10-15 min drive.

Elio and Katrina really are super hosts, but are even better than that. The accommodation was great and the location close to supermarkets and with good access to Etna and local seaside villages. The house had the most comfortable beds we have ever experienced and they have thought of everything to make it an home from home.. Access to Netflix and You Tube for Sky News was terrific. Elio was so kind and helpful to us on every subject, exceeding our expectations totally. We recommend Casa Clo without reservation and thank them most sincerely for all their kindness.

This is a convenient flat with loads of great restaurants etc nearby. We recommend a great local bar/restaurant Il Quarto steak house. Proper local bar, full all the time when most other restaurants empty, wide selection of great food, proper bar staff, etc. Parking was Ok. Easy walk to the archeological park which was fantastic. Only issue we faced was that the spiral staircase to the bedroom is hard to negotiate with a large suitcase and you have to do a steep up and down staircase to access the front door - it was not too much of a problem for us as we are fit but it might be hard for some people

Tucked away, but right in the centre, the property provided the perfect serene space to relax. Plenty of Sicilian sun on the secluded balcony and the property interior was cool and quiet. The furnishings are quirky and comfortable with everything needed for a perfect getaway. Carmela was always on hand (via text) to offer recommendations and assistance.

Beautifully Sicilian equipped space. Terraces for every room. A large spacious equipped kitchen with a terrace. Stones of the wall and floor, with no heating quite cold (in March). The only downside - mold on the ceiling in one of the two bathrooms. The neighborhood is quite noisy. In fact, the neighborhood is generally pleasant, right under Etna, so it is a great place and Giarre is a small town not so touristy, so you will experience such a normal day of the Sicily resident.

I have just spent a week in this fabulous, huge appartment with funky decor and wonderful terrace. It has absolutely everything you need , is comfortable, beautifully light and airy with high ceilings, and felt like walking into your own home. It is very central in a great location and very useful to have a lift in the building, but nicely quiet at night. you can look out at Mt Etna and I was lucky to see two lava eruptions at night - quite spectacular! Noelia was super kind and there to greet me and help when necessary. I did not want to leave and would certainly love to come back.

Fantastic stay. Perfect location. Clean, very spacious and the roof terrace was amazing! The apartment was spotless. Would highly reccomend for a stay in Catania.

Friendly & helpful co-host Miosa, lovely terrace, amazing music collection... The place could be re-done into a plain Ikea style appartment, but instead it is a bit of a time machine for a more authentic Sicily experience.

We had such a wonderful time staying at Maria Francesca’s beautiful villa. The villa, gardens, and pool were tranquil and the perfect place to relax and enjoy the Sicilian sunshine. We were given a very warm welcome after our long journey when we arrived; their passion for the villa and the work that had gone into it were obvious. When we had questions during our stay they were answered promptly and helpfully. The villa is well located for day trips to a range of places on the east side of the island, including Taormina, Siracusa, and Mt Etna. The nearby town of St Pietro Clarenza had the basics we needed to enjoy our stay e.g. bakeries, greengrocers, pizzeria, and a supermarket. We needed our hire car to get to the villa from the airport and to explore Sicily, there’s parking available at the villa. Would highly recommend as a place to stay, we didn’t want to leave!

Marco and Gaida were very helpful and friendly the whole time. Everything was perfect and we will definitely stay again when visiting Catania. More than worth the money!

Everything is very nice. The house is really cozy and located in a magnificent area. The outdoor green space is very well cared for and everything was tidy; I highly recommend it. The only downside, considering the entrance out of the way, the absence of a sign that communicates the entrance to the villa. Pay close attention to the host's directions.

Super great stay ! The pool was amazing. The house was very cosy with everything! The host and his family are very nice and always there for you. If we to back to Siracusa we Will Come Back again !

Nice, warm welcome from Fabrizio. The oven was already on (it was winter). There were homemade cakes, wine and small treats. Fabrizio was very nice and explained everything to us. The place was very cozy. We thought the apartment goes over two floors. But only booked the bottom floor. There are two apartment. One upstairs, one downstairs. The view of Mount Etna was breathtaking and also the view of the sea. Good starting point for hiking. Fabrizio was always reachable. We also shopped in his shop and were well advised. Overall a very nice stay!

A beautiful cottage at the foot of the Etna and with a large garden! Diletta & Salvatore sind herzliche Menschen, die Kommunikation war allzeit super! Der Kamin war für uns sogar schon vorbereitet! Wir haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt! Wir kommen wieder - bestimmt! Danke für alles A beautiful cottage at the foot of Etna and with a large garden! We had a wonderful time in Lella's nice cottage and her beautiful garden! It is wonderfully quiet there, there is enough sun but also shade and through the back gate you are directly above the sea, where you can walk up and down nicely. The property is perfect if you just want to relax and not plan many excursions. We took garbage bags after the first walk, because unfortunately there are some corners where there is quite a lot of plastic waste in the countryside that ultimately ends up in the sea. We find it is our responsibility to keep our earth clean and to make a small contribution as tourists who are burdening the Sicilian infrastructure. If everyone helps a little, it can have a big effect and it feels good to do something meaningful and is done on the side - walking :) Thanks to all those who join and take care of the health of our planet!
