Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Costa Saracena-Castelluccio

Tina and Luigi personally welcomed us and made sure to have everything we needed in the house to not have to worry during the stay. Breakfast food and fresh eggs included! The view of mount Etna is amazing from the house… we really enjoyed our stay!

Good starting point for excursions. Direct surroundings not nice but practical, as many supermarkets are in the immediate vicinity. The second bedroom is not a separate room, but on the gallery in the living room (separated by a kind of curtain). Kitchen equipment could be improved (2 wine glasses for 4 people). Nice seating outside under orange trees. There is a neighboring apartment. Overall, we felt comfortable and can recommend the accommodation.

Piera and Alessandro were waiting for us when we arrived with wine and a warm fire. The place is super cozy, the kitchen well equipped and is close to all the places we wanted to visit around the Etna and Catania. It was really an amazing experience to come back home after a long day of walking to light the fire and get some rest in a calm and quiet environment. They also gave us recommendations of what to visit and checked on us regularly. Totally recommended!

Great house to spend holiday with family, well suited for all of us 9 . Giuseppe and Graziella, met us and introduced to the house, very friendly and helpful hosts. House has all necessary for a nice holiday to feel at home, pleased to find cold water in the fridge, nice sweet grapes, pasata and pasta for a quick lunch in the cupboard, tea and all other basics to cook like home. Coffe machine did not work on first day, but hosts were very responsive and brought their own, they even bought us the coffee pods, very generous of them, thank you we really appreciated . Well located for a beach holiday, only 7 min walk to a wonderful long sandy beach. We were out of season apparently and no restaurants nearby on walking distance, but not an issue as we had a car and many around within 10-15 min drive.

We had a wonderful few days stay. The house and gardens are just beautiful, even better than the images. Ketty the housekeeper was lovely and Francesca was very responsive. The house is situated 15 min drive from Noto so very simple to get to the shops etc. There are no shops/restaurants within walking distance but we were able to drive a short distance to get everything we needed. Would highly recommend anyone looking for beautiful and traditional Italian villa in a quiet and relaxing area.

The experiences we have had in this beautiful country house as guests of Vincenzo are indescribable: on the one hand, the accommodation is perfectly located on a mountain with a wide view of the valley, surrounded by several flower meadows. The property is very spacious and has a large terrace. Everything was clean and lovingly furnished. In the evenings it was still quite cool in April, so we used the fireplace. What everything necessary was put together and provided and we could enjoy the warmth. On the other hand, the highlight is Vincenzo itself and its animals, which also live on the property. We got detailed tips for the area and were always warmly welcomed and sniffed by everyone:) Overall a delight!

Giorgio’s house was exactly what we wanted for our Modica vacation. A touch of the Sicilian countryside not too far from town. It truly did become home for the time we were there. Cooking pizzas in the wood fire oven and daily soaks in the wellness center. We won’t soon forget this beautiful place. The amazing cherry on top was Giorgio’s amazing hospitality and desire to share his local favorites with us.

Vincenzo's property is a really great and quiet place where you can base yoyrself to visit this part of Sicily. Taormina us really close as is Catania ! Vincenzo is super friendly and offered to help us as much as we wanted of the lemons and oranges that grow on his land. Nice shot of vitamin c in the morning.

The apt was exactly as shown in the pictures— great location, great space, in the heart of Ortygia with lots to do. Gisella and the on site manager were responsive and helpful. Perfect stay!

This place is super clean and cozy, with a terrific view of both the Etna volcano and the seashore. You could have both shimmering dots along the coast and the flaming mountain summit - if you're lucky enough. The supermarket is easy to reach and the airbnb is close to the city center. Chiara is super reliable and responds quickly. Angela is super nice as well. I would definitely recommend this house to you!

We had a great time on your apartment- would definitely recommend to anyone who’s looking for a high quality retreat. The apartment is located in walking distance to down town aci Trezza and has an amazing view of the ocean. It was great to have private parking as we wouldn’t have felt too comfortable having the rental car on the side of the road. Niky was fast to respond if we had any questions regarding the apartment or the area. One thing we would recommend is having firewood for the indoor fireplace at hand for future visitors- as spending time looking for right kind of firewood could have been avoided. We had a very nice stay in the apartment as a family with 2 children. The apartment is very cozily furnished and everything was as described in the pictures. The terrace to the sea is truly a dream. Great sunrise every morning. Despite the quiet location very central to the village center with all the restaurants and the great beaches in nearby nature reserve are also not far by car (10-15min). We highly recommend the apartment, it has enriched our stay in Sicily!

I can’t say more good things about Sabrina’s place. We practically lived out on the balcony but the interior was also beautiful, immaculate, clean, and carefully curated with beautiful and local decor. We lived in a dream this week! Sabrina was also extremely communicative and provided great recommendations as well! She gave us a tour when we arrived and was so pleasant. Check out was made so easy having to do nothing with sheet or trash too. The pull out couch was made when we arrived and is in the bed room, allowing for the living room couches to still be used. It was comfy, cozy, and had everything we needed. Including an unbeatable view and balcony. Grazie millie!!!

Great place. Right in the center of it all.

If Sicily was an apartment - this would be it. It is lovely, very well decorated and gives you the full sicilian feeling. The terrace is very useful, you have the view on the sea and the mountains and it is large enough for all activities. Private and gated parking in front of the building, very easy to park safely. The host had all of the qualities of a good host - on time, responsive, willing to help, even gave us a small gift for easter. If you come here you will have a nice apartment, a friendly host and a good experience overall.

What a view!! This place was great. Plenty of space for the four of us. Clean and comfortable too. The kitchen was very well equipped. Many, many stairs and an uphill walk to get to town, but lots to do and places to eat when you get there! A+

Villa Gorna is an amazing location with fantastic hosts. The property is as described and photos are accurate. A lot of care was taken to put nice extra features. Orazio was very responsive and helpful, with offers available for tours etc. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend.

Villa Lenzo is located in a beautiful setting. Lots of privacy at the location. The village of Ferla can be reached in 5 minutes by car. There are a few restaurants and also a Coop supermarket. It's a must to have dinner at Quattro Canti. Traditional dishes and the pizza Etna is highly recommended! Furthermore, there is a bakery and butcher. In the direct surroundings you can find Pantalica. A beautiful area to take a walk between the rocks and along the river. But you don't necessarily have to go out. Enjoy the sun at the villa with the occasional splash in the beautiful swimming pool. There is also a large gas BBQ available to have a bite to eat at the villa. For the sports enthusiasts, there is a table tennis table. We thought it was a top location and the host Paola provided us with all kinds of information to make our stay even more pleasant. Thank you Paola!! In short, a super location to completely recover. Book this location!! Regards, Arie

a Fantastic experience, a beautiful house equipped with everything, very quiet and very well cared for, a stone's throw from Dubrovnik. The owner is very kind and nice. It is worth returning. House to recommend.

A private, relaxed villa for our group of two families with four kids. The pool area and surrounds were put to extensive use! Alberto is a wonderful, responsive host and a great local resource, with his many trip and restaurant suggestions adding great value to our trip. Etna put on a great show too which was a bonus!! All round great memories!

We had a great stay at Paolo's! Communication worked out great and he was immediately on hand if we needed his help. We liked the house, we had everything we needed. The outdoor area was very well maintained. All in all, we felt very comfortable and can only recommend the house!

Glad to have such special experiences in ancient beautiful villa which will be memorable forever. So handsome and helpful landlord Antonio provided us many assists and pretty fresh flowers to us during our accommodation. We liked the horse, peacock, cats and especially cute gentle dog “Musetto”. We will strongly recommend to u if u plan to Ragusa and will be back to villa if any chance in future. Pls don’t hesitate to reserve this villa, it is worth 10+ point if may.

Had a wonderful time at Francesco's place! He and Giovanna were very welcoming and generous hosts, sharing local recommendations and even some home made wine! The pool was the perfect spot to cool off after a hot day and the house was well placed for excursions to Etna. Thank you both for a delightful stay !
