Barn holiday rentals in Cotswold District

I had a beautiful time at the Stables! It’s a getaway from the world at a working farm. I love animals, so I asked to meet some of them, and Yvonne took me to see (and pet!) the milking cows, and explained the entire process to me! The house had traditional charm but was has been updated everywhere that it counts. They have lists of local recommendations but I was happy to get groceries and use the excellent kitchen at the property. I did not have a car and was warned about difficulty getting around but as I was only interested in nature and peace and quiet, getting to and from on public transport was easy enough. Finally, Yvonne was always prompt responding to me and was very friendly and welcoming! I’d love to come back!

Kate was a fantastic host. The accommodation had everything we could need and was spotlessly clean. It’s in a fantastic location, very close to city centre but in a very quiet road and close to a brilliant pub. We will definitely check availability next time we return to Bath!

The place was perfect for our family reunion! The kids loved the brook and outdoor space and the walk through the farm to the pub was great. Would stay here again.

A second very comfortable stay, thank you! This is a beautiful, well equipped, spotlessly clean and comfy property. The hot tub is brilliant, with lovely views over the fields behind. We also appreciated all the thought that has gone into making guests comfortable, from the fresh milk and local cheese in the fridge, to the home made cake, to the stove made up ready to light, and not to forget the extremely comfy beds. Communication was always prompt, friendly and helpful - we were very grateful for the flexibility around check in and check out times. We will hope to come back!

We had a lovely stay at Talia's place. the cottage had everything we needed including lovely views and it felt very homely. Glastonbury town is a nice walkable distance and Talia was very helpful and responsive. The enclosed garden was perfect for letting the dog have a little run around.

Lizzy's place was wonderful. We were only there for a weekend and I would love to go back for a longer stay. There was plenty of space and the hot tub was a bonus. The property is also close to some very pretty villages and towns - highly recommended!

We loved our stay at the barn. Amazing views, spotless clean, comfy beds, essential treats left, very dog friendly and so handy having a stair gate and high chair to borrow for our daughter. Great location for walks including walks from the front door. We hope to come back.

3 of us stayed this past weekend along with my friends dog, we were travelling to the area as we were going to visiting Soho Farmhouse and Daylesford Farm. We received instructions from Neil and Janet on how to find the property and gain access the day prior to arriving. Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised to find the property was much larger than it appears in the photos online, it was warm and inviting and very peaceful. We were kindly left bread, milk, eggs and a bottle of fizz (which was a very nice touch and welcomed after a 3 hour drive). We were out and about for most of the weekend so didn’t use the kitchen other than for drinks but it had everything you could need to prepare a meal. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms clean with great showers. The dog was very happy to find a safe and secluded garden to run around with his ball. For visitors coming in summer there is also a BBQ and fire pit. fab location, great property, I have no doubt we will return!

A Fabulous stay. Janice and David were great hosts and the barn was everything we could ask for and more! The property itself is private, with peaceful surroundings. A proper break away from the madness of everyday life. The neighbouring area has an abundance of walking routes, and several pubs to recharge along the way. The Admiral Nelson be a true highlight of our trip; high quality food with a cosy atmosphere. We ate there everyday!! Would recommend to anyone.

Was perfect for a Valentines getaway! We are so grateful to Sam and Adrian for extending their hospitality, they truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to make sure we had plenty of information about the surrounding area! We have to give our thanks also to William who provided lots of snacks and drinks through his tuck shop :) The barn itself was cosy yet spacious, the bed was super comfortable and water pressure in the shower was decent. The kitchen was fully-equipped for us to make a beef wellington on Valentines night!! Even the temperatures were near freezing - that didn’t stop us from taking full advantage of the fire place out on the patio! Overall we had a wonderful stay and would love to come and stay again! We thoroughly enjoyed our staycation/weekend getaway at Mel’s place with our dog. Everything was as described in the listing and we felt at home straight away. Mel was super helpful when providing information on local walks, pubs, restaurants, shops etc. I would highly recommend Mel’s place to family and friends for a cozy and peaceful getaway, likewise would stay again if in the area. We came here for a weekend getaway for my girlfriends birthday. It was perfect! Close to things that you can get to places within 10 minutes, but still feel like you’re in the middle of the countryside. I had asked them to changed the complementary wine to Prosecco, was in the fridge with glasses waiting for us! A very clean and comfortable place, worth the money 100%! The tea lights, matches and bath salts were added nice added touches! The location is peaceful and quiet, you can’t really hear the other guest much! Toby and Mandy have thought of everything and answered any questions we had through the stay. Will definitely recommend to others!

We had a wonderful stay at The Barn in January. The place was exactly as described if anything I don’t think the photos does the place justice as it seemed even more beautiful once we arrived! It was very quiet and cosy and felt like a proper retreat! Michele was super welcoming and even supplied little gifts for the children and the dogs who attended with us. There was so much thought and care into everything Michele had prepared and we were gutted we hadn’t booked more than 2 nights! Highly recommend this place and will be back to visit again for sure!

We had a brilliant few days away! If you are looking for tranquillity, peace and quiet in an idyllic setting, you will not be disappointed. The Barn overlooked the pond, so we spent some time bird watching as we sat out on the decking during breakfast and in the evening. We stayed in The Barn, there is also The Leat next door, which we would consider, if you wanted to take additional family members. The property had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. This was the perfect location for sightseeing the surrounding area. Natalie, the host, ensured that our stay at The Barn went smoothly before and on arrival with information regarding check-in and check-out. This was a holiday break for my elderly mother-in-law, myself & my wife. We needed everything on one level with separate bedrooms/bathrooms/showers, this property met those needs. Thank you Natalie for an amazing time at this stunning property and for looking after us.

It’s been a lovely week long stay at Carol’s whilst in the area to visit family. The accommodations are attractive, cosy and comfortable and decorated tastefully for Christmas on this occasion. We greatly appreciated the flexible check in after our long flight and having the essentials on hand, including delicious baked goods. We had no difficulty parking and found the location very quiet and peaceful. Marshfield is delightful with its cafe, a couple of local shops and 2 pubs. We frequented them all. The Catherine Wheel hosted our son in the BnB and he was comfortable and well fed. We also gathered there for a couple of meals in large groups and great food with excellent service were consistently provided. Sweetapples Teashop just down the road is good for breakfast, specialty coffee and an afternoon sweet treat after a hike. I can’t recommend this accommodation and the village of Marshfield enough.

My huso and I truly enjoyed our stay in the Old Barn House. The place is beautiful, and cosy. The hosts are friendly and even welcomed us with a very nice Apple Crumble cake, orange juice and milk which is always nice to find. The bed is comfy, looking at the cows and birds chirping from the upstairs window was one of my favourite things. We also loved the chimney and the fact we had a couple of hiking trails a couple of steps away from the barn.

Thank you for a lovely stay at The Dutch Barn. Great location at the centre of a peaceful, picturesque village. Interesting barn conversion. Very efficient log burner! Made it very cosy. Luxurious bedding. Responsive host. Thank you again.
