Had amazing time at Sheila’s. Aside from the cleaning issue which she sorted straight away it was an amazing space in a great location.

River Nest Wilderness Cabins- Octopus's Garden #5

TristanRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We had the best time at River Nest Cabins! My husband, 5 month old daughter and I only stayed for a night and have decided to return next year for a longer stay because we enjoyed it so much. Beautiful cabins, very helpful host, very serene location. We’ve already recommended this place to a few of our friends!

Such a beautiful space inside and out! We wished we could have stayed longer and appreciated the perfect touches and hospitality our hosts offered. My all-time favorite Air B&B!

Magical Lake Retreat up to 20 People

ScottRating, 5 stars8 months ago
I had a group of four families (with young children) stay at both the eagle and the sun house. The houses were very clean and spacious. We had plenty of room for our group and even had multiple unused bedrooms. The view is spectacular from both houses - especially the sun house. The pictures don’t do it justice. There’s no air conditioning in the houses, but we were kept cool by opening the windows and using the many fans that were provided in the rooms. It was fine during our stay, but I could imagine the upstairs rooms may get stuffy if you happen to visit during a particularly warm period. There’s a walk down the hill to the beach on the lake, and the beach is rocky so don’t expect to bring young kids swimming. Even if you’re feeling adventurous you’ll need water shoes to get around. Overall a great experience and a good way for a large group to visit Cape Breton

Scenic Lakefront Apartment on Bras D'or Lakes

Our stay at Sara's place was just perfect! What a tranquil, beautiful, spacious, clean, fabulous spot! Sara is a fantastic host, who greeted us with coffee, muffins and wine! Her lovely property is well-equipped, private, and we enjoyed the woodstove! Although we didn't have time to sit at the waterfront, it has great views. Her location is very central and easy to get to the Cabot Trail. All-in-all, a first-rate BnB!
