Holiday rentals with beach access in Cumbria

We had an issue accessing our previous air BnB that we had booked. I found this place and contacted the host Trevor to explain our situation and to ask if he could help. His place wasn’t quite ready for guests but he went round there and had it ready for us within an hour. Really went above and beyond to ensure that we weren’t left stranded. Very friendly service and a lovely find, the accommodation was perfect. Excellent service. We are very grateful that we found a great last minute booking with a lovely host. Thank you Trevor

What can we say other than what a great find….. well that’s just the start, Deborah was a lovely host, the place was beautiful, spotless and very conveniently located for the beach, town and other local amenities. On top of that we could take our dog……

Really enjoyed our time at the flat. Easy walk into the centre of Morecambe and also along the canal. Good place for a base with a bus stop right outside!

Pauline’s place is in the perfect location next to the North Pier with beautiful views of the sea and the most amazing sunsets. We worried about the noise after reading some reviews but the noise from the bars downstairs wasn’t too bad and certainly didn’t disturb our sleep or disturb us when we were watching tv. The apartment was spotless, had everything you needed and we would definitely stay again if we ever return to Blackpool.

Fantastic location, underfloor heating lovely. Happy overall. It’s a shame the local pubs/inns didn’t provide food on a nightly basis. Lovely food when available. Hope and Anchor does good food at a cost!!!!! Sun Inn great and very welcoming.

450 Marine Road East apartment 3 is a two bedroom 2 bathroom property with 2 sofa beds in the living room. If you need to use the sofa beds extra bedding must be asked for in advance. A big advantage is dogs being allowed to stay so we took our little Bedlington terrier. We found that the location was excellent to walk along to central Morecombe in 25 minutes. We had fantastic bowl of chowder in the Bath bar which is dog friendly. In the evening Bare village is right around the corner where there is a dog friendly bar called the Little Bare. The views of the coastline are stunning and ever changing. We loved waking up and having breakfast at the table next to the bay window. The colours and sunset are very impressive. We loved the decor in the apartment and found it had everything we needed for our stay. Great communication from Alex and Helen. We’ll be back!

Loved our stay here!! Jamie was great & the house is stunning. We enjoyed the hot tub and the house had everything we needed and more. We had a walk into the local town and had the local Chinese too it was lovely, would 100% recommend.

A four day family break was enjoyed staying at The drift house in Amble. Our days were so easily filled with wildlife (we saw dolphins, seals, puffins and many other birds), beautiful beaches, Alnwick and Bambrugh castles. We ate out at la Famiglia twice and at the sea food shack in Amble and a pub in seahouses- all tasty and friendly. We returned ‘home’ to the Drift House’s clean, comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. So central to access beaches and restaurants and close to shops but felt quiet and private too. Thank you Ian and Lauren! Carol and the Duffy family.

Lovely little spot not far from beach and town centre with local spots to eat and drink nearby and great access for walking in the lakes Lovely accommodation with lovely huge bed, rainfall shower and the hot-tub was lovely Andrew always replied quickly and was very helpful

We had a lovely few days staying in Jane’s place. The location was perfect, parking right outside and walkable to Lytham and the promande. We would highly recommend and will definitely be back. Thanks so much Jane.

Lovely property, in a good location. Less than 10 min drive to anywhere we wanted to go in Morecambe. Lancaster is also less than 20 min drive away and also not too far from lake district either. Beds that we used were comfortable and every room was spotless. Paula was very responsive and always got back to us within a couple of mins. Would definitely recommend and I would definitely stay here again.

had a great multi generation stay here to celebrate my 60th birthday and our 40th wedding anniversary. lovely house with lots of bathrooms. great location. Hayley is responsive and helpful. Perfect stay. Fish and chips at Seniors, locally. Tiggis restaurant was great and very local. Great for a family seaside traditional holiday. Thank you 😊

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at Marine Cottage, where we were staying to celebrate a family birthday. The communication from Lynda was fabulous prior to our arrival and we were able to locate and get into the house no problem. The house itself was immaculate, and had every required amenity that I could have imagined. The house is a lovely little quirky cottage and was lovely and cosy on a cool spring evening. Our 3 year old son loved spending time outside in the secure courtyard, and I was reassured that he was safe and secure and could not escape at all! Amble itself is a lovely little Northumbrian village and we thoroughly enjoyed walking around, and cheeky ice-cream or two! There was a fab market on the Sunday, the biggest that I have seen for a long time. We also enjoyed visiting Alnwick, Holy Island, and even made a little stop at the Metro Centre on the way home, which isn't far away at all. We would 100% recommend Amble and Marine Cottage to everyone. Thanks!

George and his daughter are lovely people. Their home is so clean, warm and had everything you could possibly need. Having it accessible for my son’s wheelchair was amazing and the downstairs bedroom really helpful. The location to visit Blackpool is just perfect, the tram stop is opposite so getting to the tower or the pleasure beach is easy, but the house itself is that little bit away, with excellent parking, making it ideal for a family. Very fair price too. Highly recommended.

Family of 4 (2 adults/2 kids) just got back from 2 nights at Tom's simply stunning apartment. The photos don't quite do it justice for it's size with fantastic views, luxury touches & sun terrace with views of the front/sea. Tom was fantastic throughout our stay, arranged our luggage to be able to get dropped at Briggs early & messaged to give us a well received late check out!! We spent our time visiting the lake district, morcambe sea front & happy mount park. We ate in the cafe downstairs (Ritas) the market & ordered takeaways in the evening sitting around the well appointed dining table/island. Evenings spent relaxing on the HUGE comfortable sofas watch a movie on the HUGE tv. Have to say: the beds were so comfortable, the apartment so quiet in the evening we had the best night's sleep. Thankyou Tom & Tina .... your Airbnb in stunning & we will definitely return in the future.

Great comms from the host. Its worth noting that the property has many stairs, should that pose an issue for your booking. That being said, the property and the surroundings were superb We will return next year

Stunning property and the location is just perfect for anyone looking for a quieter stay away from the centre. Everything was as described, the hot tub was perfect and Nikki herself was super helpful, friendly and communicative. Only stayed Friday till Sunday but plan on booking a full week next time!

Lovely home from home, very comfy bed and spotlessly clean home for the weekend. Easy to find in a quite safe road with off road parking and private entrance. Great find and will visit again.

A very comfortable stay in a quiet location. Great location for exploring all of Blackpool. Would definitely stay there again.

The apartment was a great base for our one night, and I think it’ll be fine for two to three days too. If there are five staying it could be tight for space in the lounge area, so not the best if you need to spend a lot of time inside, but if it’s just to sleep it’ll be fine.

The ensuite bathroom and additional toilet enhance the convenience, ensuring comfort for everyone in your group. One of the standout features is how spotless everything is; it’s clear that the host takes immense pride in maintaining this beautiful property. From the moment you step in, it feels inviting and fresh. I was also amazed by the tranquillity at night. I would 100% stay here again.
