Tethera Nook is the South East wing of Hylands with wonderful views. Set over three floors, surrounded by beautiful gardens, it has been renovated with great care, to the highest standard of design, using quality materials and finishes. It is a place to rest and unwind, to wander and sit in a garden full of wildlife, to gaze at the ever-changing views. It is 12 minutes walk from Kendal town center's many independent shops and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub the Rifleman's Arms.

We offer attractive self catering accommodation in a quiet picturesque rural Cumbrian village in the Lyvennet Valley at the northern edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. You will enjoy exclusive use of this well equipped house for 5 guests (with additional mezzanine double sofa bed if required). Bring the whole family to Church House, a beautiful old farmhouse with lots of room for fun. With spacious living areas and lovely bedrooms, it's a wonderful place to stay whatever the weather. There's also a large garden with incredible views across the Eden Valley to the Pennines and Lakeland Fells. The property was recently upgraded with the addition of a large, sky-lit dining space that makes it a superb location for entertaining.
