You’ll love Great Salkeld with its excellent village pub, ancient church and its many countryside walks. The village is set in the tranquil Eden Valley, close to the river Eden. Just 10 miles from the Lake District National Park, it makes an ideal base from which to explore this stunning region.

Weavers Cottage, Hartsop-stunning location
Weavers Cottage is a detached 17th century stone built barn at the head of the Ullswater valley in the central Lakes. The views are stunning with panoramic views of lakeland fells and over Brotherswater. The place is pet friendly and perfect for guests who love the outdoors. Classic walks straight from the door and secure storage available for mountain bikes and canoes. After a day in the fells, toast your toes by the wood burning stove or enjoy the sunshine in the private south facing garden.

The Cottage at 15th century Sparket Mill
This is the old miller’s cottage of a 15th century mill, situated in secluded part of the Northern Lake District National Park, a UNESCO world heritage site. Stay in a unique one bedroom apartment , with its own private entrance, bedroom upstairs with a kingsize bed. There is a downstairs lounge and en-suite. Situated on the corner of a river, surrounded by wildlife and wildflower meadows, only 5 minutes from the shores of Ullswater and 15 from the mountain ranges of Helvellyn and Blencathra.

Traditionally built Log Cabin in a woodland setting, with exceptional views of the Western Fells. Relaxing and Cosy Atmosphere with a wood burning stove. The Cabin comprises of a Kitchen, mezzanine Bedroom, living area and adjoining bathroom. ( I list this cabin for 2 people but would consider allowing up to 4 guests if you contact me especially if you wanted to bring children for instance) Please note this property may not be suitable for guests with specific disabilities if a fire occurred.

Set over three floors, surrounded by beautiful gardens, it has been renovated with great care, to the highest standard of design, using quality materials and finishes. It is a place to rest and unwind, to wander and sit in a garden full of wildlife, to gaze at the ever-changing views. It is 12 minutes walk from Kendal town center's many independent shops and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub the Riflemans Arms

Lake View Lodge
Stay at the Lake View Lodge and wake up to fantastic views of Lake Windermere and its mountain backdrop every morning. The Lake View Lodge is a self-contained, wooden lodge with access to three acres of grounds and wild meadows attracting a wonderful array of wildlife including owls, red kites, deer, foxes and woodpeckers. Enjoy a large 45 square meter space with king sized bed, double sofa bed, shower room and kitchenette. Ideally suited for up to two adults and two children or three adults.

The Barn, Mosser - For 2 adults and 1 child.
The Barn is a beautifully refurbished retreat in a quiet corner of the Lake District National Park. Built in c.1870 as part of How Farm, The Barn is a very comfortable self-contained space which sleeps two adults and two children. It has a small garden, unique open living space incorporating the kitchen and lounge, lobby, shower room and large bedroom. The Barn is in a countryside location yet gives easy access to all the North West Lakes and the lesser known but very scenic West Coast.

Rose Cottage: Beautiful Lakeland Home in Caldbeck
Rose Cottage is part of an old fulling mill (c. 1669) situated on the River Caldbeck in this peaceful, well served village. This semi detached property has been recently renovated, retaining beautiful period beams & fireplaces. On the Cumbria Way with fells, footpaths, bridleways & cycle routes from the doorstep. West view is a luxury property located directly on Nethertown beach. It is in a tranquil area with amazing sea views. It has a dog friendly beach, is great for fishing, has lots of wildlife and has the most stunning sunsets. In winter, enjoy cosy evenings with the fire lit. An ideal base for exploring the Western Lake District and Cumbrian Coast. It is surrounded by scenic walks and activities. It is close to St Bees coast to coast walk too. Please note- We no longer have a hot tub.

The Old Potting Shed is a romantic hideaway for two set in the walled garden of the owners' house with its own private entrance. The retreat is totally secluded, but still just a minutes walk to Sedbergh's lovely pubs and cafes. It's the perfect base: head out walking in the hills straight from your door or use our electric bikes to explore the quiet lanes. When you get back, soak in the wood fired hot tub and enjoy a drink on the terrace while admiring the wonderful view of the fells.

The perfect romantic retreat, Swallows Rest, is a converted 18th century hay barn. Belonging to the 17th century Grade II listed High Greenrigg House, it offers all the modern conveniences whilst retaining the character of such an historic building. The ground floor contains an open plan living room, dining area and fully fitted kitchen. There is a utility room accessed via a low stone doorframe. Upstairs is a mezzanine floor with king size bed, balcony and luxurious shower room
