Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Danbury

This was our second stay at the Riverside Blues House and once again Liza did not disappoint! This is a great location, great view and the home is pristine and beautifully decorated. My son lives nearby and when we have a large group visiting the Riverside Blues House is our home away from home. Can't wait to stay there in the warm weather and take advantage of the Ferry!! Having a current child / Cadet at West Point and also another child / graduate of West Point , we always make it a point to stay at different Airbnbs in small towns around the USMA on both sides of the Hudson River . Melanie ‘s place was wonderful. Plenty of rooms/ beds for our Parent Weekend visit. Peaceful and safe location , yet a short 20 minute drive to the Academy . We felt right at home and look forward to staying at Melanie’s place again . The house was very clean and we had no issues at all !! Thank you

Beautiful place and stay! Private, cozy & peaceful, yet close enough to fun places like Hudson and Kingston. Martina was a wonderful host, super responsive with tons of great recommendations. We absolutely loved our stay!

Ruth was such a great host!! She was extremely flexible and reasonable — and the location was beautiful. Me and my group of friends were able to have such a nice time, stress free at Ruth’s Airbnb!

We stayed here right after our wedding in Westchester county as a "mini-moon" for a couple of days and absolutely loved it! It was the perfect place to relax especially on the patio overlooking the water and the hot tub was an added bonus. This is one of the few Airbnbs we have stayed in that we would go back to in a heartbeat. Beautiful!!! Highly recommend :)

This was a great find! I booked this Airbnb for myself and 4 other girls and there was plenty of room and space for us to hangout, sleep, and get ready. Walkable to town. Extremely clean and had all the amenities you would need for a short weekend getaway. Marianne and Steven were very responsive whenever I had a question. I would totally book this Airbnb again!

We enjoyed a beautiful early spring stay on the farm with a group of 7 ladies, gathering for a chill bachelorette weekend in Cold Springs. The farmhouse was super cozy; great for cooking, crafting, games, tea time, outdoor wine picnics, star gazing at night in the hot tub and making friends with the chickens! A great retreat spot for groups with all the amenities!

Stayed here for 2 nights with a couple friends. Perfect spot for a quick getaway. Backyard and pool area was exactly what we were looking for with lots of space to lounge and relax. Lots of entertainment if you wanted to just hang inside as well. As some of the other reviewers noted, you can definitely hear the hosts move around upstairs. Didn't impact us too much except for Saturday morning. Was a little difficult to sleep in b/c of the noise.

Nice little getaway during the cold season. The hot tub was excellent and about 100 degrees so perfect even with the cold temperature. It was still possible to put together a meal with the propane grill and warm things up in the microwave or store them away in the fridge. The heat was excellent in the space. Seems like it would be a great place to stay in the summer as well!

Lovely quiet, pet-friendly place above the garage but note that there is a steep staircase to get up to the second floor. Very friendly hosts - greeted me on arrival and had left the door unlocked so entry was easy and the key was available for my use. Comfy bed, cozy and warm rooms with remote-controlled mini-splits in both the living room and bedroom. Bathroom with tub and separate shower - the water pressure was not as strong in the shower as I would have liked, but it was nice to have the skylight in there. My GPS found it easily but a larger sign with the house number would be helpful, especially at night. I would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful home with amazing views. The house was very clean and spacious, the views were amazing. Susanna was very responsive and gave clear instructions. We had a very relaxing weekend and enjoyed very much staying at the house. We would love to come back.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Marcela's Airbnb! I was in town for the Spartan Race and needed a comfortable place to relax after the event, and Marcela's place was the perfect spot. The house is spacious and inviting, offering plenty of room to unwind. After pushing myself during the race, the hot tub was an absolute dream—perfectly maintained, spacious, and the ideal place to soak in and let the stress melt away. Marcela herself was incredibly polite, responsive, and thoughtful, making sure I had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. She really went out of her way to ensure I was comfortable. If you're looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating retreat, especially after a big event, I highly recommend Marcela's place!

My wife and I stayed at Ron’s place for five nights for a winter getaway. We had a great stay, highlights include a comfortable king bed, a quiet setting, a cozy fireplace, and the large ground floor bathroom that feels like your own spa- we thoroughly enjoyed the sauna, huge bathtub, and rain shower. Ron was a great host and was very responsive with any questions we had. We spent many hours watching TV on the screen and projector set up, we grabbed more pillows from upstairs to add some more cushion to the leather couch downstairs.

We had a wonderful two day stay at Roger and Amy’s place. It was fantastic- such a beautiful, inviting home. Our kids had a blast in the heated pool- we could barely get them to come out despite it being under 60 degrees out! The kitchen was stocked with more than just kitchen basics- the spice cabinet had soo many different choices ! It was probably the most perfect AirBnb experience I’ve had and we travel plenty.

The location was great and a nice place to walk. Lots of stuff to see and do that’s not far away. We would come again.

We were looking for a last minute peaceful four day getaway and we found it here. We can’t stop talking about it. Although relatively close to everything we felt as if we were in the middle of a forest. The only sounds were the chirping of song birds and a woodpecker in the morning. Local restaurants are great and for us a trip to Yale University’s free museums and nearby antique shops rounded things out. The house is charming and Rio, our host , made sure we had everything. The few things we forgot from home were there! Wonderful experience all around.

We had a brief stay, but what a cute place. Bravo! Was perfect place for us!

I was looking for a place to book on short notice and Rosa Maria gladly opened up her stay for me! She was very quick with responses and very helpful. 10/10 stay!

Orna was so welcoming and easy to communicate with. The apartment is cozy and well appointed. We were visiting our daughter and family for Thanksgiving. They recently moved to Kingston . Great location! This would not affect most people, but my 90 year “young” dad was with us, so the old fashioned tub/shower was a bit of a hazard for him. Really a gem of a place if you are traveling through or visiting loved ones in Kingston.

Staying at this Tiny House was a wonderful experience. The hosts are incredibly responsive and kind, and the tiny house itself has excellent privacy. The location is a few minutes drive from multiple charming towns. The hosts' dog Ziggy and Fjord horse Spunky are lovely, and the tiny house is pet friendly! I brought my dog, and she had a delightful grooming experience on premises. We will return!

The property was cozy and clean with great graden sitting are and almost everything you could need. Only qualm was that the property was advertised to have a fence but there isn’t one, there is a hedge but not a gate to make an enclosed space for a dog. This isn’t a huge deal because the beach is so close and great for walks just a minor disappoint other than that the place is incredibly cozy and we would be happy to stay here again

We stayed there during the Christmas holidays to spend time with our son, who moved there recently. It was a nice visit and even though this place was a tad bit small but perfect for what we needed. Our daughter had a room for herself but still within the same space with us, like a 2 bedroom suite. Better than staying at a hotel. Our only complaint is that the climate control system could be improved. It was very warm at 72°C even though it was set by the host to 68°F.

A wonderful space for myself, my husband, and our dog!! Louis and Jennifer were extremely responsive and kind hosts who made us feel right at home!! The space is beautiful and private, in a quiet area, but still close enough to town for dinner, etc.! We would absolutely recommend and would love to come back!!
