Cabin holiday rentals in Danube River

Extremely welcoming accommodation and equipped with everything you need for a quiet and relaxing weekend outside the city. Very friendly and proactive host, communicative and very helpful regardless of the time. It's not really signal, however the internet went great.

In short, and not to repeat previous reviews (which are all spot-on), Alex's place is simply magical. Located in beautiful and serene nature, the house and the converted barn are simply amazing. Tastefully decorated with lots of Romanian traditional artifacts, they boast with artful arrangements. We're a family of four and had an amazing time. We found the amenities well thought-after, every detail was carefully designed, we appreciated the warm and cosy atmosphere, the old clay oven, the available wood for bbq and for warming up around the evening fire, the sitting area in the converted barn, even the traditional plates and mugs. Needless to say, and to compliment the above, Alex is a great, responsive host. Very highly recommended!

Getting up the mountain was a bit difficult for me, but then the view made up for it. Very cozy little cottage, we had a really good time.

Darja's cabin is amazing! Very beautiful surroundings, we even saw multiple deer from the hottub! The cabin is so good, you basically just want to stay there all day :)

I had read that access was complicated but I wasn't expecting that. I thought I'd find a dirt road but there was still some ice despite the warm temperatures. But it wasn't the ice, the problem... it was the mud! Despite an SUV we bogged down. Cannot move forward or backward. Completely blocked! Luckily Adi and a friend came to our rescue! We were saved! Adi managed to ride our vehicle to the chalet. A big thank you to him! Plus, he carried our suitcases and groceries. But complicated access is well worth it! The cottage is beautiful. I quote my 25 year old daughter “the most beautiful place we've ever been”! The atmosphere with the garlands is magical! Beautiful hot tub in the middle of the fir trees. Overhead projector for awesome movie nights! We met some small disappointments but Michelle was responsive and fixed everything. We are 100% satisfied with our 2 nights, thank you!

A peaceful retreat surrounded by nature, perfect for relaxation. The owner is very friendly, everything is clean, and the hot tub water is crystal clear. Highly recommended!

the cottage is gorgeous, the location benefits from a lot of privacy, nature is equipped with absolutely everything you need the only inconveniences were that:1. the price of the tub is not included in the reservation (it would seem fair to me to mention it beforehand) and the water in the tub smelled although it was seen that it was freshly changed (I understood that this is how the water is in the area) 2. the road is a bit bad, I recommend getting on the light if you want to arrive by car well (and here I understood that the problem is just from the moment and it will be remedied) overall a beautiful experience, a ten for Razvan who helped me when needed

A great place! Looks exactly like in the photos! Host was very helpful. Small tip: during winter be sure to get wheel chains - roads might be a bit icy.

It’s the perfect retreat for couples seeking an intimate getaway or families looking for a cozy, quiet, and fun-filled escape from the noise of everyday life, focusing on what’s truly important—each other. The hosts were exceptional—professional, responsive, and full of great local recommendations. We can’t wait to return!

Wonderful stay and lovely hosts. The house is perfect for a couple and the dogs loved the big yard (it’s completely closed so they can roam free which is a big + for dog owners)

We stayed at the cabin with our little girls and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Bojan was very helpful and flexible with the check-in as well, we were allowed to come a bit earlier, so the little ones don't need have their mid-day sleep in the car. We were very pleased with everything, will visit again for sure! :)

We had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly friendly and provided fantastic local recommendations. The house was beautiful, well-equipped, and had everything we needed. We had a great stay! The space was cozy, with attention to detail, from the charming decor to the well-thought-out amenities. It was peaceful and quiet, offering a truly relaxing experience, and being close to the river added an extra touch of tranquility. We felt right at home with everything I needed readily available.

A really unique place in a quiet area really good for relaxing for a few days. Rares is a great host, we got clear instructions o how to find the place and how to use heating and stuff. It is a wood cabin so it does make some sounds when you walk on it but this just adds to the rustic feeling so if you like this type of accomondation you will love this!

Was a very nice and exceptional place to stay. The kitchen and bathroom are very well equipped. The friendly host provided us with all the necessary information. Parking is for advanced, but should be feasible😅. Glad to come back! ☺️

Amazing location and house. Sauna, outside cooking area and the views were all wow factors. Great for access to Slovak Paradise National Park and surrounding towns. Would definitely stay again and for longer.

The place is fantastic. We had a great time. The host and hostess are wonderful - they could not be better. I would love to go back and stay for longer. All the facilities were spotlessly clean, and there was nothing lacking. I recommend it 100%. The only problem we had was that on entering the location (coordinates) into Google maps, it took us up a steep, rocky, inaccessable, single lane, farm track, from which we had to reverse out. A friendly local hopped in our car and directed us round, by the tarmacked road, so it was no big deal. The host drove him back. What I really liked was the separate shared kitchen with everything you would want and the air con in the cabin. The location is rural, with birdsong etc. It is next to a haymeadow/orchard. It is idealic and peaceful.

Barbara has an amazing cottage in a tranquil mountain area. We spotted a lot of wildlife and even if the weather is not so good you can visit the sauna.

It is the perfect location for a quick escape from the city.
