Buitenhuysje de Roos has recently been completely renovated and wonderfully quiet. The cottage is small but nice, about 55m2 and has 3 bedrooms. In 2022, our cottage has been renovated, with a new bathroom, kitchen and cast floor. There is a fireplace and fine wooden veranda, where you sit very private, with beautiful views. Within 5 min. you drive to Bergen or Schoorl, where you can find supermarkets, nice shops and catering. The dunes and the forest are within walking distance and by bike you can reach the beach in 20 min.

Unique Dutch Miller’s House

This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. As the Miller of this windmill, I enjoy giving my guests a complimentary tour whenever possible.

In the two cozy bedrooms you will find a double bed and two single beds. The apartment has been completely refurbished in 2020. The large living room offers a lot of living space. The towns of Hoorn and Enkhuizen have terraces and eateries. With beautiful cycling and hiking routes in the area. Nice terraces and eateries. Kitesurfing spot 10 minutes' drive away. The apartment is located on the ground floor directly behind the huge sea dike of Den Helder. Here are beautiful sea views every day. The best view during the Sail Den Helder event! In the always cool sea breeze, the tough history of the area can be experienced up close, as well as the city center or the relaxed island of Texel. Within less than 1.5 hours drive (!) you will find some of the best tourist attractions in the Netherlands - such as Amsterdam. All well worth great day trips!

House with stunning views and private garden.

Beautiful apartment with 2 bedrooms. Completely on your own. At the back a spacious garden room with fireplace and also its own garden. The garden room can be heated with the fireplace . In the winter it can be too cold to sit there only with the fireplace. Bathroom has a 2-person bath and a double shower. There is also a washing machine and dryer in the bathroom. Wonderful apartment to stay entirely on your own and enjoying the tranquility!
